But yeah, we're just very very passionate and want the show to do well.

They are
as higher viewer amounts start.

So Ch5HD should stick with this for longer.

Good Post....there is a lot of critisism that doesn't merit it on here, and if those who keep saying how crap it's got yet are still posting on a forum really can't think it's that rubbish or else they wouldn't bother looking at the forum sights.
Also not everyone is fame hungry who auditions for Big Brother, it is a game show with £100,000 prize money, do they think people on Deal or not Deal or The Cube are fame hungry?
Some of us just want to do something out of the ordinary or experience something rare, others may be at a crossroads or bored with life and want the excitement - just because someone is attractive it doesn't necessarily make them fame hungry, it's always the attractive one's who get called fame hungry wannabe's what about the older or uglier one's or the geeks or posh one's who have been in before?
I agree some are, which was quite evident last year with 2 or 3 of them though, but don't judge everyone the same. To put yourself through this means you must have an outgoing personality, and are not just a show off.
On the plus side, the fame hungry wannabe's are usually evicted early and we love to hate in the UK so it all makes for great viewing anyway.

Not gonna lie I moan about it but it's better to be pleasantly suprised than let down.

thesheriff443 11-05-2012 09:08 AM

people need to wake up its not your show its a telivision program
just beacuse over the years you heard that crap you decide you think the production team gives a flying fcuk
what you want and what you get are worlds apart.

Hmmm.

No, obviously you can have an opinion on the eye that's fine. But the people that are like 'I don't get why you're all happy with it, it's horrible. Worst eye ever' Are just being over the top ******ing bints who are looking for something to cry about.

Compare it to BB2, BB4 and BB12 and it's clearly not the worst eye ever - and by far better than last year's anyway.
So whilst it's fine to not like the eye, there's no need for people acting like it's THAT bad.

No offence Patrick, but this sounds like you in January when they reused the same BB12/CBB8 eye. Just saying.

Patrick 11-05-2012 12:15 PM

Yes? And I had every right to? It wasn't just me - because they reused the same eye, and literally everyone was annoyed.

The fact they've changed it is a brilliant thing, but there's still some ungrateful people who want it to be better.

I never said you didn't have a right to. Just pointing out the hypocrisy of you saying that people are "ungrateful" and overreacting about this year's eye when you behaved in the exact same way last year. YOU feel it's better than last years but not everyone shares that opinion.

Marc 11-05-2012 12:18 PM

I don't moan but I know for a fact BB3 is the best ever season  and I won't stand down.. ever.

Well even in the 'glory' years plenty were still fame hungry, it started years ago. The last normal one was the best mix I've seen in a while, lots of personalities that clashed. And the ones that really wanted fame were the ones that lost out. Alex, Jay, Louise, Rebeckah etc

:hmph: TiBB goes beyond Big Brother for me. I much prefer off season.

I suppose we all see different things but I didn't find it much of a "mix" last year at all.

Once all the idiots were filtered out it was better

Mystic Mock 11-05-2012 02:38 PM

I actually thought BB12 got worse as time went on as away from about 3 or 4 Housemates the rest was annoying jackasses imo.

RichardG 11-05-2012 02:46 PM

I think if people find things about the show that they don't like they should be able to complain, even more so if they're genuine fans and just want to improve something to make the show better. That being said, some people seem to have nothing but negative things to say about it and that's what I hate. Theres voicing your opinion and then there's just being annoying.

People go on BB for one thing....FAME.

You auditioned to get in didn't you........ by default then: you are one of those fame obsessed.

Last year's winner wasn't fame obsessed.

No need for the insults btw. People are entitled to their opinions without you disparaging them.

And that's their opinion..... no need to go about insulting people because they dislike something you happen to like: it's them having THEIR opinion, which is also fine. They can 'cry' about whatever they want to, however they like: it's how THEY feel and they have a right to that too. ;)

When any series of anything goes on for two long, it gets a crowd who hark back to the 'glory days' especially if there is any changes to the series.

The original BB shows, the first few WERE the best. After that: it slowing disintegrated into mostly a platform for wannabees: with the very occasion 'normal' person being put in the house.

While I do agree, I am one of those original fans who liked it for those reasons, I think newer fans like it for different reasons than us. :p

Yes, whine, whine, whine, it's a job to find a single post on any forum that's positive at the moment. This year's BB hasn't even started and is already being slated.

I wouldn't say the show is being slated by the fans, if the series is good then the forums will have mostly positive comments, it's impossible for everyone to like what Channel 5 do, but if Channel 5 deliver crap there will be mostly negative comments.

If I'm honest I think that fans on here do love Big Brother but they are just afraid of Channel 5 producing a bad series as they don't really have long time fans trust, although they are doing an ok job.
