Lol It's not going to make any difference to viewing figures either way.

His point was important enough.

Honestly he's just coming across as a bitter **** to me. No doubt mentioning this is just to drag BB down.

Patrick 04-06-2012 01:49 PM

His book should be good though.

I'm not sure how you can perceive him to be bitter at all. He's simply making a point that people should think about everything that comes with being a Big Brother housemates, the abuse and all. He's said multiple times that he's honoured to have won and is proud to have been a Big Brother winner. Not bitterness.

Can he not give advice without mentioning suicide then? He has no right in bringing it up at all. All he's done is open up speculation about something personal to other people whilst at the same time making BB look bad. Funny how it's only been brought up now he's fallen out with the producers.

Because he's had multiple times to speak before this interview, right? I don't think he's done any media stuff since CBB as far as I'm aware. You're making something out to be bigger than it actually is. As I said, no1curr about BB12 any more, the speculation won't go any further than a thread on a forum, hardly a big deal.

If you think that makes it okay for him to talk about it then fair enough.

Jords 04-06-2012 02:31 PM

How come we never heard anything? Very sad if true.

I couldn't care less honestly.

Probably for the best he got it out there on TV without naming any names to bring awareness to how much stress the show can actually cause people even when they leave the house, i find 4 pretty believable considering how much the show plays with peoples lifes when they are in there and we don't see how bad it is for them when they are out

Suze 04-06-2012 02:42 PM

I can imagine this being true, especially some of the crap ex BB housemates get outside of the BB house by some of the public that take it far too seriously. Well done to Aaron for bringing it to the fore. There has been speculation of many a BB and how some housemates make the grade who undoubtedly have their problems. One housemate from BB7 I think it, Shabaz? was I am sure I remember threatening to kill himself whilst in the BB house, whether in jest or not, it shouldn't be taken lightly. Another who didn't make BB11 but was in the one of the 100 of the potentials line up, didn't he actually commit suicide?

So I believe Aaron could well be telling the truth, and as I said before, good for him for bringing it to the fore. BB mess with housemates minds far too much and probably don't give them the right amount of aftercare on their leaving BB.

Patrick 04-06-2012 02:50 PM

Nadia tried to kill herself too after UBB.

Patrick 04-06-2012 02:51 PM

And then of course, Sir Allister from the BB11 Shortlist.

Who wasn't actually a housemate, but deserves a mention for being the only one to actually kill himself.

iRyan 04-06-2012 04:48 PM

My guesses: Tashie, Rebeckah, Jem, and Aden

This. He's clearly very bitter about the BOTS ordeal.

Not really, he's just not desperate enough to make himself look like a tit for your enjoyment

Well done to Aaron for telling the truth! People should think carefully before entering the Big Brother House. Not everyone can handle it. And the aftercare clearly leaves a lot to be desired.

bbfan1991 04-06-2012 05:21 PM

Not good publicity before the new show starts, although this is shocking if Aaron is telling the truth and only reinforces the point that the aftercare for Big Brother contestants needs improving because so many housemates have criticised it.

M X 04-06-2012 05:22 PM

That does seem a little far fetched. Like, what was so traumatic about this series compared to all the other ones to the extent where 4 of the housemates tried to kill themselves.

How did we not hear about this? We heard about Sree and Chanelle.

But if it is true, that is awful and Big Brother should take more care of the housemates after leaving the show.

reece(: 04-06-2012 05:38 PM

Heaven, Tashie, Jem?

bbfan1991 04-06-2012 05:47 PM

I know that Aaron was using the 4 people as examples even if he didn't name them, although if what he is saying is true then I imagine those he is referring to would surely feel uncomfortable?

Something needs to be done about aftercare but one negative of this is that people will be speculating now about private information, even though we might have our ideas to who it might be...

arista 04-06-2012 05:48 PM

He was Very Negative
this morning on Ch5HD

bbfan1991 04-06-2012 05:50 PM

I suppose he might have asked for permission to discuss it but agree not to name them? If not then it is a risk.

Kazanne 04-06-2012 05:54 PM

If I had been treated like he was last year,I would be negative too ,infact i think they are lucky he even mentions it again, they were VILE about him and no one with anything about them would want to be seen endorsing them,I see no reason to call him a liar,he knows the house far better than we do,so who are we to say he is lying?what would he gain?Aaron is merely warning people it is not all glamour and glitz, some people expect too much from it.He pissed off BB big time ,that is why he is the best winner ever.

'@TomBB @Jem @TashieJackson @Aden
Hey Poppets, mind if I talk to that tit on The Wright Stuff about you four trying to top yourselves? I won't say your names though? Is that alright?'

'@AaronAllard Sure bab x'

Unlikely. That he asked permission.. Especially because he only talks to Harry, Tom and Faye.
