It was alright, but it's definitely not one of the best.

It got boring quite quickly.

Not much difference to BB 2007.

BB9 was crap.

I didn't really like BB9 at the time. Liked it better in retrospect but still not a notable series that I would think about if you asked me my favourites.
But, if anything Nicole killed whatever the series had at that moment. Sending relatives/spouses in is a big no no for me.

I never found BB9 that great.. It was okay until Sylvia and Alexandra left, then we were stuck with Rex, Darnell and Mo :bored:

Lisa was the only good thing about BB9 for me.

Just look up dirtymonkey151, his playlists have pretty much every series. Then find a proxy or unblocker.

I am re watching BB6 now after watching CBB4, loving it. I think part of it is nostalgia, as even though I watched since series 2, my huge fandom was mainly Big Brother 5 until 7, and didn't return to it and start watching what I had missed till a couple of years ago.

I think BB9 is the most overrated series ever. Loads of people on TiBB go on about how amazing it was, but the only good thing about it was Fight Night 2. I would even go as far to say that BB8 > BB9.

However, I'll admit that BB9 is much better than BB11 & BB12.

Agree, i probably preferred BB 2007 to BB 2008.

I'm shocked that a lot of people think anything between BB8-BB11 is better then BB3,5,6,7. I think its lot to do with a lot of people saying these things its more then likely their first BB's they ever saw. Its understandable. I think BB lost its way after BB7 though BB9 and BB10 weren't awful until the last few weeks. I think BB9 greatest asset was Rex but once his GF came in even he lost it.

I think BB6 and BB5 >>>>>> than BB8-BB11

But I think that BB10 is better than BB3 and BB7.

Everybody is different. I've seen them all and BB9 is definitely one of my top 5 favourites with BB6, BB10, BB5 and BB3, loved it. Apart from BB4 and BB8, I rate every other normal BB (yes that does include BB11 and BB12) higher than BB7.

I don't even think BB9 is overrated, it's very low placed on the TiBB homepage.:shrug:

BB10 was great until they lost Freddie for me then it went downhill. I do think its the best bb between 8 and 11. I do think BB7 is overated by a lot as the last few weeks were awful.

I agree. Those four series' are the classics for me, really surprised that people prefer BB9 and BB10 to any of them.

Totally agree. Again maybe that is down to Nostalgia. I agree that Big Brother 7 got a bit dull after Nicki left, and she never was the same as soon as she realized she was popular. I did like the reuse of the House Next door part but that was just because we got back the best of the best HM's that we lost due to the moronic voters. That's one thing I am glad of with the Channel 5 series, at least with less mainstreamers watching they can't mess up like that.

But back to Big Brother 9. I might try some more as I only got to Sylvia's eviction. Plus my vile hatred for Alexandra didn't help, they all seemed a bit...chavy if that makes sense. That or boring. Other than Luke, need to see more of him. And as I mentioned before the freak show nature really put me off.

BB5-7 were the peak years IMO, with BB10 not far behind. BB9 was just awful in my eyes: bad house and even worse housemates, not to mention the winner. No offence to the worshippers.

No-one from BB9 even touches Marcus, Bea and Freddie.

TBH, those two series couldn't be anymore different. From two completely different "eras" of the show. Not to mention one got the highest and the other got the lowest ratings of the channel 4 years.

I was just stating my opinion on the comment someone made about series 3, 5, 6 and 7 being the four best series. I'll admit that they are very different, but I found BB10 slightly more entertaining then BB3.

BB10 sucked sorry.

BB9 & BB10 could have been awesome series for Big Brother, but BB9 was dominated to much by B-Block, and BB10 became the Noirin show without Live Feed aswell.
