I 100% have not, will not, couldnt even pay me to.

I love BB and have actual hatred for the "fans" who are constantly sending complaints and basically just sh!tting on their own doorstep.

Pretty soon we will have a show resembling BB11 with no alcohol and no entertainment.

It's BB that's sh!tting on it's own doorstep by not taking appropriate action.

The uproar is because a rant so vile and so graphic only got a slap on the wrist.

It also wasn't the 1st time he'd made threats.

They did.

They warned him and when Aaron was called to the diary room they asked him to put himself in Deanas shoes to which he responded sympatheticaly.

They have also called Deana in to make sure she was ok.

They have shown great care for her well being but i think they believe that a housemate shouldnt be thrown out on the basis that he may be upsetting fans unlike Channel 4 who **** their pants at any sign of possible upset.

Im intrigued to see where this is going and am glad he wasnt kicked out at the first sight of controvercy.

Jarrod 26-06-2012 08:30 PM

No. And i never will. You people who complain are completely two faced. You moan when Big Brother isn't on, and then you moan when it is on and you hate it! If you hate it that much you'd stop watching wouldn't you?

Scotty07 26-06-2012 08:34 PM

One of the biggest dumb twats ever to appear on BB, but no.:idc:

daniel-lewis-1985 26-06-2012 08:36 PM

Im touching myself.

That's great but people are more than entitled to complain if they don't like something - after all, if you put time and money into watching something, you're entitled to express your views, no matter how extreme they may seem to some.

Niamh. 26-06-2012 08:40 PM

I do believe that BB didn't handle the Conor situation properly but no I haven't complained to OfCom

Sure.

Fenn 26-06-2012 08:42 PM

100% No! Why would you complain about a programme that we all missed when is to get axed by Channel 4. That's just increasing the chances of it getting axed again.

fruit_cake 26-06-2012 08:44 PM

no I didn't complain but totally understand those that did.

It's going nowhere, so you can calm down. It's on Channel 5, yeah, but so are a lot of channels and they're nowhere near the axe. And it's not like they'll decide to bin a show based on a couple of anonymous members who simply dislike a particular housemate or two.

Exactly. Fed up of people saying that everyone who is complaining is ruining the show. Today was the first time I've complained, I have no regrets about doing so because Conor's vile rant crossed a line and he shouldn't still be in there. Others have been removed in the past for far less worse offenses.

Saph 26-06-2012 08:52 PM

Just because people complain to Ofcom doesnt mean the show will be taken off air :conf: if anything, it just ensures that BB will handle situations like this better in the future.

joeysteele 26-06-2012 08:52 PM

No, I haven't and wouldn't waste my time anyway, OFCOM rarely do anything anyway.

I certainly wouldn't complain as to BB though, what do we want to see people running around a maypole all day saying, oh aren't you nice, or see the housemates as they are, warts and all.

Those we come to intensely dislike we can wait for them to be up for eviction and help vote them out, those we like we vote to help them stay and maybe win.
To make those judgements we need to see the good and bad sides of the housemates, that certainly happened and was what we saw as to Conor last night so minds will be likely firmly made up as to him.
To complain to OFCOM though, risk again Channels turning away from BB,what is really the point of that,I see none myself.

Sweeping Genrelisation?
I am not two faced:shocked:, i have never moaned about big brother until today. And no i love big brother, but i was justified making my first complaint :)

We can all be judges of morality at times and don't call someone 'completely two faced' because you don't agree with what they're doing.

Personally, I wouldn't wish to waste my time moaning to a site when I'm guaranteed more than enough people will certainly do that for me but if you're a fan and you really feel strongly or offended enough to complain, there's no problem. It's like saying to people that they're not fans because they don't feel as strongly about certain elements of the show as the more passionate (in their eyes).

armand.kay 26-06-2012 09:06 PM

What Conor said in my eyes cannot be justified not even for the sake of entertainment.

It wasn't a warning. BB usually stress that fact but in this case it didn't happen.

It was the 2nd sign of controversy. The 1st was him threatening to get Benedict at the wrap party (which was ignored, glossed over, brushed under the carpet)

He didn't. He more or less said that if people were alienating him then it would be his own fault & he should change his own behaviour!
