She seems to be unravelling... its kind of unnerving to watch, the footate last night of her in the diary room complaining of being bullied?
She reminds me a little of shabby who walked, she could not deal with the fact she was not popular or influencial either.
Lydia would leave if it wasen't for the interview with bri, she needs that for her showreel.

i think lydia has a non verbal communication problem. her voice is very harsh, so is the way she looks at people. the harsh haircut doesnt do her any favours nor does her rather aggressive make up. she should go for the romantic/more feminine look, not the rock chick "im so hard" one, maybe that would make her more approachable?

lydia also hardly ever smiles and her body language is rather aggressive. even when she asked arron about sitting at the table it seemed like an attack because of the way she said it. almost everything she says, even though she doesnt mean it like that, comes across as a reproach. and when the others feel attacked by that she goes into this condescending "im not bothered/i dont want to talk about it" mode but then you see her bitching about it in the garden. she needs to make up her mind whether she gives a damn or not, so far she obviously does care. as she said herself, shes surprised to find herself being the outsider, shes probably always the popular one. hence probably why shes always so miserable.

all in all i really think its the way she moves/sits there, looks at people and the way she talks that comes across as aggressive and unapproachable. instead of focusing on the "gang" and how to destroy them she should focus on her own little group and how to enjoy herself with them.

I do understand what you are saying but I disagree with the bolded bit, it seemed to me that Arron was looking to pick a fight with her. Lydia appeared to me to be just trying to make conversation as she said at the time.

fair enough, arron seems to have a temper, especially when he thinks somebody is attacking him. i think there are certain housemates in there that whatever they say, hes gonna see it as an attack.

however, if lydia had actually asked him that question (intonation going up at the end) it wouldnt have come across as harsh as it did (with the intonation staying the same).

arron has the same problem, especially when he talks to deana lol
