I'm not short enough to survive on that!

I've spent a lot of years and a lot of money to figure out exactly what I need in terms of fat/carb/protein ratio, calories, exercise, etc. I also don't for a second suggest to anyone that it's an easy thing to do. Becky isn't near ready to deal with it, which probably has a lot to do with her attitude, but I hope sometime soon she has a doctor who will talk to her straight about it, that she's very likely to die before she's 35 at the rate she's going.

I started off with swimming. Have been slacking off for the past while though so I might rejoin a gym with a swimming pool and some nice yoga and zumba classes.

Zumba is REALLY FUN btw

Oh for sure. When its warm I'll switch it up and go running instead. I'd still rather be doing 1000+ other things though with my time than working out lol

I need 1800. If I go below that, it kicks off starvation mode and nothing works right.

I agree it seems that Becky isn't ready, I lost a lot of weight in my 20's on the Atkins diet, but granted that doesn't work for everyone. Calorie counting is the easiest to follow imo and Becks obviously has some knowledge of it but it appears to be a bit hit and miss she said something about Pasta being 1500 calories but offered no connection to the actually weight of the pasta. 1500 calories on it's own means nothing it's about 350 per 100g IIRC.

As a 5ft 11 male I have operated on 1500 for a few weeks. My build would be fairly moderate though

Atkins works so well!! I wish I could do it again at 100% mode.. its harder for me to go 0 carbs again.

I'd be careful about dropping it so drastically in one go. May well put you into starvation mode.

btw may I ask how tall are you?

Best to stay away from white bread all together if your watching calories, wholemeal has a lot less in it.
