I'm Canadian, watching on youtube for past 5 seasons. There are usually a min. of two uploaders every season that post BB and BOTS.
I also used a proxy and facebook last year to vote in the final!!! I don't know how Brits feel about this. Am I breaking an unwritten code by voting as not a member of the British Public???

dyfed 02-07-2012 05:27 PM

I am Welsh living in Barbados.

flamingGalah! 02-07-2012 05:31 PM

I'm Australian but now live in the UK...

Yayita 02-07-2012 07:31 PM

This forum is very nice and international.. that rocks!

smartalec2718 02-07-2012 07:31 PM

Yeah there are a couple of uploaders that go out of their way to avoid copyright stuff and they keep making new accounts, etc. It's really great of them, I wouldn't be able to watch otherwise.

Although I was in London for the first 10 days or so of this series, so that was nice  First time I've ever watched BBUK on TV as it airs!

fruit_cake 02-07-2012 07:33 PM

I never knew there were so many Americans watching, they're almost outnumbering the British in the poll :amazed:

dyfed 02-07-2012 07:38 PM

You have international members from around the world....

fruit_cake 02-07-2012 07:42 PM

I like BB UK more than BB USA sometimes because the US version gets so hateful fast and its all about manipulation and forming aliances. I like the UKs restriction on nomination talk and also the highlight shows and eviction shows. The US doesnt do daily highlights and the people dont get as involved.

Indy 02-07-2012 08:13 PM

Of all the things the US version does differently, the worst part is that one person nominates and the rest of the house votes. It's basically Survivor with climate control. I'd love to see them do a season the UK way - everyone nominates, the public votes. The live feed viewers get rabid as it is when they're powerless. I'd love to see them turned loose on the actual game.

America! And proud of it! But also quite jealous of your BB

the UK's version really is better, isn't it? Iv'e thought so for years..My only bitch and, it probably works reversely, is how we (in the US) can't watch the vids on the channel 5 site or on Facebook..

Eosvox 02-07-2012 08:26 PM

my favorite difference with the UK version is no noms talk...

completely agree! but they dont let the public vote because the good looking ones would always win. but yeah i would love it if they did it big like the uk, show, highlights, audince vote etc..

It's just how the US works though. BB1 showed that the way the US votes, the show wouldn't be good. Just like with Glass House now.
