Exactly. And she's such a great housemate? She's such a cold fish! :bored:

I disagree. I know Deana's been annoying and dull but I don't buy this 'She's only playing the victim card' argument.

She has been bullied on a few occasions and I fail to see how Conor using profane language at her, etc, can't be described as bullying because it is.

I don't like her but there's no point denying things that are clearly true.

I don't think it's bullying. Conor just doesn't like Deana.

It actually was bullying at some stage but as it is right now Conor simply doesn't like her.

I don't think so. Conor went way over the top, but calling someone names isn't bullying.

"appalling bullying and intimidation"? BB would have been taken off air and have far too much to lose to allow any of that behaviour in the House. Some people really need to keep a sense of perspective instead of blowing things out of all proportion. We have to remember that everything we see is heavily edited in order to keep the viewers entertained (less than 45 minutes out of a 24 hour period).

I'm not a fan of Conor, in fact he's probably one of my least favourite HMs, but to be fair I think he does try and keep away from Deana and have little interaction with her whereas Deana loves an argument and does seem to be the instigator of most of them.

This is a game show and this year, more than most, every single one of them are playing it.

realitytvsux 12-07-2012 10:48 AM

Conor has definitely been bullying Deana. He hasn't spoken to her since the beginning of the show, he has muttered under his breath and snarled at her, he has encouraged others to nominate her.

Deana may have played up her victim role a bit, knowing it would create sympathy, but that doesn't change the fact that some of the others were out to get her.

Deana is not perfect and I think she has made a stupid mistake by listening to 'deranged' Siovenne but with the back biting and suspicious atmosphere in the house it's not surprising that she doesn't know who to trust anymore.

Insulting Forum Members is against the rules, so no it doesn't really. Can you just make your points about HMs without insulting FMs in the process please.

On topic, I like both Lauren and Deana so I was disappointed with Deana last night being all buddy buddy with Shievonne after all that stupid arguing yesterday but I do understand that it's probably very confusing in there and I think alot of them feel paranoid, especially with the likes of Shievonne making it worse.

He may keep away from her but he's always got her name in his mouth.

She gets told what's being said and so confronts him to find out what his problem is. Can't see much wrong in that

There's nothing wrong with that at all but it's hardly the actions of a 'bullied and intimidated' victim

Yayita 12-07-2012 03:34 PM

Oh no!! I think its happening.

BBUKLive: 3.33pm: Lauren and Deana are having a whispered conversation away from the group. BB asks them to turn their mics back up. #bbuklive

DEANA dont do it!!!

WozMan 12-07-2012 04:02 PM

Ì'm sorry but after this incident Deana is clearly a puppet. Whats worse she is more likely to believe some one who plants **** in her head about other housemates(Shiv) than some one who is genuinely nice to her and doesn't try to push her into doing things (Lauren).

I am greatly disappointed in the way she is conspiring against Lauren with deluded Shievonne :(

Considering all the so-called enemies she has already made, it is also a bit pathetic. If Lauren is guilty of anything, it is NOT standing up for herself, apart from if its ciggies or bacon that is! Deana and shievonne were at each others throats a DAY ago......as I SAY, PATHETIC.

She's shooting herself on the foot! Why can't she see that Shiv isn't her friend?

shievonne has completely manipulated and intimidated Deana. I'm afraid that with Deana confiding in Adam could be a downfall and is exactly what shievonne intended.

Deana fans need to vote Shiv out. Otherwise she could get her evicted.

Thank you! I've been saying this since the start of the show. Deana is a cold person and is not loyal to anyone. From HOUR 1, the friend she made in the house was Lydia and she nominated her shocking Lydia. And her 'evil eyes' reason for Victoria was just cruel and harsh coming from a woman.

Whenever you see her, she's always in a group but on the side. Getting close, but hardly getting involved. She's very calculating and stand-offish.
After the best mates contest with Becky, she turned it to be all about her. Anyone with common sense will see that Becky also called her her BM, so there should not have been an issue. When she thought Chris did not like she, she told Lydia it could be racism. She knew Shievonne was mad at her and rather than talking to one of the only friends she had in the house, she nominates her. WTF.

When someone likes her, she screws them over. When they don't like her, she's a victim. Why does anyone have to like you? She's full of herself and I would find a friendship with her emotionally draining.

Deana has given us insight into her true personality and it's funny people took this long to see it.

Another example is the stupid comments she makes to Becky regarding weight and food. Why doesn't she get it that whining to someone about the number of calories in something they're eating is bad form. To make it worse, she went and pulled out the can and read the label and went on to ask if she was not worried about calories. She just seems to cold and clueless when it comes to people. Similar to the evil eyes comment.

She's been the focal point of so many arguments, it's no wonder Deana's constantly on a hunt to find out why.

Having received an ear-bashing during a Shievonnalogue and been on the sharp end of Conor's tongue since Day 1, it's been interesting watching Miss India UK come out of her shell and play the game the way the bulk of her fellow housemates are playing it. Today, she seems to have reached another level.

She weathered Shievonne's blast and now, after countless peace talks, the two are back on speaking terms. Today, as part of the Rules Are For Fools task, she even helped the former playmate out when she struggled to eat with the ludicrous tongs that became compulsory when it came time to masticate. The two bonded in this tender scene, with Shievonne playing baby and Deana playing mummy, though it may have seemed to some minds that Deana had forgotten just how sharp that argumentative blast was.

But those who thought that way will have missed Deana's earlier, hushed conversation with Luke A. The topic of Shievonne was discussed and it became clear that Deana hadn't forgiven, nor forgotten. Instead she's decided to take everything on board, be at peace with everyone around her, and keep in mind any fractious scenes when previously cantankerous housemates attempt to build bridges with her.

That thought was compounded when she spoke to Lauren later, with Becky joining in a little later.

"We're doing alright", said Lauren.

"We'll be okay", replied Deana. "Especially after tomorrow" she went on, indicating she'll be happy if either Shievonne or Conor leave.

Lauren picked up the ball and ran with it. "I'd be happy if both went. I'm sick of Caroline too."

Only a day ago, Deana asked Luke A if Lauren was trustworthy after hearing bad reports from Shievonne. Clearly the girl from Birmingham did the necessary fact-checking regarding Lauren's good character and decided to ditch Shievonne's advice.

Watch out, everybody. Deana's tactics are finally coming out to play.
I still like Deana, i was shocked what she did yesterday but it didn't total fall for it!
I think it all depends on tonight Highlight show!

She was intimidated and bullied the first few weeks.

Since beating Lydia she's started to find her feet.

MrWong 12-07-2012 06:08 PM

Seems people have got ahead of themselves in their haste to paint Deana as 'evil' if the latest news is anything to go by.
