If Conor breaks the rules x 1, then hot water gets shut off.
If Deana breaks the rules x 3, then hot water gets shut off.

If anything, BB is protecting the outsiders here, should be a lot worse.

Yeah exactly, said this on another thread as well but arguably the worst punishment was actually given to Conor's D & B rule break because losing control of the Diary Room effectively meant he would definitely be up, or at least two Insiders anyway.

Bored of the conspiracy theories, BB is not favouring or being biased towards the Insiders

Jords 17-07-2012 03:06 PM

Insiders have gotten away with a lot more with all their influencing that has gone unpunished. Obviously their fans will make that its not true but I really dont care about that. I think its a shame the show is losing its integrity.

But everyone influences noms to some extent, everytime one housemate goes up to another and has a bitch about someone else then that's influencing their perception of that housemate and could alter their decision. The problem is it's a bit of a grey area, if Caroline steps up her bitching about a couple of people in the days leading up to monday is that considered influencing them?

And yeah I am more likely to see it that way being a Conor fan, and obviously the Outsider fans will see it in a different light, I don't see what the big deal is about that

I think they are afraid of provoking Connor. That is why they had face to face noms. They knew the weakling Scott and Becky would not dare nom him.

Well as a Moderator perhaps you could influence BB. After all the housemates called insiders are playing BB.
Why not have Caroline have some of her convos played back. She starts on a Tuesday and systematically influences the weaker housemates. This might be seen as clever but it had ruined this years BB. No wonder people are switching off in droves.

Haha unfortunately not, but anyway yeah that's my point, Caroline is influencing people but that's just being smart and playing the game, I don't see how it cn constitute a rule break when really she's just bitching about people

Example: Lauren and Luke A are up for eviction and voting begins. A few days later another housemate breaks the rules. I really think that regardless of the rule breaks Big Brother won't put that other housemate up for eviction, because it creates a legal and accountability issue. Because a) people already spent money voting based on only two nominations, and b) it creates an unfair advantage as two of the nominees will have a few extra days of votes. The only way BB could probably actually get away with it, is if they refunded all the money and cancelled the initial votes, and started again from scratch once the punished housemate went up. Which I doubt they really care to do.

Think about it, we've had a crazy amount of rule breaks this series. Not once has one been put up.

Ah right i see, i misunderstood what you meant.

We all know we can't trust the producers with the rules in the house, many of the rules are just a sham now anyway.

Put two more 1's on how many times Conor breaks the rules.

Let's face it they certainly weren't going to do anything to stop the subtle yet blatently obvious nominations talk this week. They knew exactly who was going up and probably even helped it along by allowing face to face noms to go ahead - BB was listening to all the conversations and knew that most of the HM's would nominate Lauren and Luka A. But they had to make this weeks eviction night an exciting one as they're up against the Olympics opening ceremony and need to compete to get viewers.

Look how much of a stir and publicity it's caused already... and you think Channel 5 were going to give that up?

I'm not a fan of any of the insiders and I completely disagree with you. The insiders have been punished a lot. There is nothing wrong with sitting around bitching about someone you hate and calling them vile, etc. If people choose to allow that to influence their vote then so be it. Everyone is open to doing that. Talking about how certain people are targetting you or telling how someone else is going to be targetted next so they'll vote with you is definitely influencing in the rule-breaking way imo.
