Good lad is Conor really. Shame he's misunderstood.

DanielLuis 22-07-2012 11:45 PM

He felt sorry for her but he is still a pr*ck.

Black Dagger 22-07-2012 11:48 PM

I thought it was genuine, then I realised he'll likely nominate her again tomorrow anyway, so my feelings towards him were negative again.

ozzyshaggah 23-07-2012 12:05 AM

the only thing he feels sorry for is that she is still there
no heart no soul no brain

WozMan 23-07-2012 01:31 AM

A small glimmer, brought on by the emotion of his own letter. Still massive progress as far as Conor goes.

Probably won't last but it was good to see a crack in his wall of hatred.

Nope
And even if it was, he still is and will always be a twat for threatening to rape & beat up a woman.

DEFINE his actual actions please

Oh my god you're starting to type like Chuff
And what do you mean define his actions? He clearly said he will stick an epilator up her 'minge' and knock her out if she pranked him.
Being a woman how you can you just brush that off?

jyunga 23-07-2012 02:11 AM

I've only seen two situations where Conor was 'horrible'. His comments about the epilater and the time he flew into Deana when they ended up washing the clothes together. Aside from that he just doesn't like her for whatever reason, so yeah he's going to keep putting her up. She'll keep putting him up. I think he definitely felt bad. Maybe seeing everyone upset during their letters clued him in that they are real people not just 24/7 game players.

I don't infact I had my drink spiked in 2002 and went thru an 8 hour ordeal and was raped by two men, I couldnt be MORE against if if I tried. Still I think Conor has shown remorse.

Jords 23-07-2012 02:35 AM

You have my sympathies Beverley. No one should be made go through such an ordeal. I would not wish it on my worst enemy or most hated housemate.

I know Conor showed regret after he was called to the diary room. Still not sure whether it was over wishing such a thing on someone or messing up his chances of winning.

It really was a very stupid thing for him to get worked up over Deana failing her peice of the task when it was won overall. He should have been raging at BB for giving him a **** prize!!

I don't seet the 'traits' in conor, he's a loudmouth, but he's NOT one of them, he's just angry from time to time.

Life gave me lessions so I could teach others............... I'll stand by that until the day I die. I know you hate Conor for what he said ut trust me, he was disguststed with himself.

It was so so so so stupid of him to say that and now you all know, I wasn't a fan at all with regard to what he said, but in all I think deep down he's a good lad.

it isn't easy to come from where I have, but one thing I will always be is honest.

Beverley 23-07-2012 03:00 AM

Look, I don't want to kill a thread. There's some nasty bastards out there and unfortunately, I've met my share. They were arrested and charged. What I will give is the safety of anyone, life has to change. I want my children to be safe.........

Jords 23-07-2012 03:05 AM

You didnt kill the thread its just late dont worry. I think youre brave.

Very good points,it always amazes me that Conor is hammered, although rightly for the main offensive comment, Deana though can lie about people and go behind their backs, not own up to ever doing anything wrong and be hailed a near Saint.

In my view,Conor has his faults and is rather full on as to attitude but Deana has a great many faults too and in different ways can be as offensive as any of the others are.
I would personally feel I could trust Conor over Deana most of the time.

She has also nominated him every week anyway and he knows that is likely the case so why shouldn't he return that favour as to her too.

vortex 23-07-2012 06:24 AM

I believe he was genuine but I dont think he likes her.

I love your line that Life gave you lessons so you could teach others, that is something I live by, I'm only 20 but already life has shown me how much I can learn from others and events.

I would like to thank you for sharing your story with us on here and was sad to read it too.

Your great balancing of the Conor situation is a really welcome one too and I can see that outside of the house and deep down he is likely a good person really too.

I think people are making too much of this tbh, yes, he showed he could empathise but that doesn't make the rest of his behaviour towards Deana ok.

Blue Cadillac 23-07-2012 07:59 AM

Didn't buy it at all. The tears were likely to be connected to the receipt of his own letter. He'll still be putting Deana up for nomination.

joeysteele 23-07-2012 08:03 AM

I was far more impressed that he even said anything at all, he didn't lose the task after all, he did his and keeping quiet for 4 hours likely would not have been that easy for him to do.

I was less impressed,(from what was shown anyway),that she didn't even acknowledge him saying it though. I know 'sorry' is not a word in her vocabulary she likely recognises at all but a simple thank you for that gesture would have been equally gracious to see from her.

Marc 23-07-2012 08:26 AM

I think he was genuine.
