I really need to start paying more attention to the highlights.

She probably talks more at them than with them.

I started liking her when she put Arron in his place.

Nothing to do with sympathy.

I wasn't saying she wants to replace her, but she's trying to act like the 'leader' of the group when she didn't before when lauren was there, so it's a bit puzzling.

I have never implied she is a saint. In fact I always admit when she is in the wrong e.g when she wanted to set up Lauren.
Its one thing not to like her but to pick on every single little thing she does. :bored:

You said "it feels like she's trying too hard to replace Lauren at times"

It's not exactly a 'little' thing though is it.

I can see your point.

MrWong 25-07-2012 11:37 PM

Maybe she just wanted to give a name to their group.

Lipgloss bitches, jungle cats, wolfpack... It's not exactly out of the ordinary on BB.

Even the viewers have named the groups. Insiders/Outsiders.

Don't know what the big deal is.

Well it is inevitable the dynamics will change a bit one member of the group is gone.

Maybe true if she didn't try force those little chats.

I think Deana knows that out of the 3 of the outsiders left, she is the one both Luke and Adam would sacrifice if needs be, and by making herself look like the leader of the group she is making it harder for Luke and Adam to see her as someone to sacrifice.

billy123 25-07-2012 11:40 PM

Hmmm it seems to me that some people feel threatened by and are having a tough time relating to a strong woman and need to resort to attacking her at every opportunity.

Or maybe they're just talking about a Big Brother housemate on a Big Brother forum...

I think it's what she's trying to do, but I don't think it's going to work. She's always going to be the 3rd wheel in that group because she doesn't have a strong connection to either of them individually. Adam and Lauren had a bond outside the group. Adam and Luke A have a bond outside the group. Deana has only had that type of bond with Sara and Caroline, one of whom they mistrust and the other they outright hate.

Yeah the whole Deana and Sara 'bezzie mates' thing has cooled off, so she needs to keep her options open.

I had the same observation when Lauren was in the house but now she is gone it seems Adam and Luke A have solidified her in the pack and that is why Deana is more vocal with them. Lauren would be happy for her Im sure.

Yes I agree. Its at EVERY opportunity which is annoying, sure she has her faults and stuff like every other HM, but seriously every little thing she does is twisted some way by a few to make her look awful. I dont get it.

Locke. 25-07-2012 11:53 PM

Would have been quite good if it was a better group of housemates and not done in such a serious matter

It happened last year with Aaron too. The sun shone right out of his arse and it's made it's way to Deana's this year. I hated Aaron but thankfully I quite like Deana - so I am escaping the wrath of the obsessives. Not that I care - obviously.

Beverley 26-07-2012 01:37 AM

Deana knows her time is limited and she's ran out of people to play, hence the soldiers statement. She is trying to round up people but her cause has truely run out! The 'paying' last night was pityful and so selfish on her part. Adam highlighed that enough!

Deana is embarrasing herself enough now, 'soldiers this that and the other', has the girl ever considered there are enough ex squaddies watching that have been in REAL situ on ops............ silly silly girl..... time to leave.......

asteve001 26-07-2012 01:57 AM

Nitpicking isn't going to get her out of that house, I don't think she has anything to worry about.

agreed it was plain crass....the fact she didny give a stuff about her mothers letter too...she seems colder and more calculating than anyone in there....maybe conor was right , he just didnt have the ability to express himself properly

armand.kay 26-07-2012 02:14 AM

I honestly feel sorry for people who watch bb and analyse every move Deana makes. It would spoil the show for me if I was that obsessed with a housemate yet loathed them to.
