Sorry Nessa, but its a pretty strong and true occurrence that must not be forgotten or forgiven. My femenist side just wont let it go that easily. Perhaps when he leaves the house we'll see another side of him. but for now that is a big part of what we have to go on with.

yeah that too

but hes also so sure of himself, thinking he can get away with things, probably why he said those to Deana

he also accuses other people of being sneaky, yet he and luke S are the ones who planned to keep in secret regarding the talk of nominations from the beginning.

there is no stand out moments from him that will be remembered after the series is over, other than hes unjustified attack on Deana. (which he can be proud of and an inspiration to the youth)

That happened ages ago. And he said sorry. :nono:

Could someone please tell me what Conor has contributed to the house that makes him an entertaining housemate?

Nope, nobody yet. His strongest argument so far is that something disgusting he said was ages ago

We can all like any housemate we want. We don't need to justify ourselves. I find this thread offensive. :bored:

MTVN 31-07-2012 09:06 PM

Why does liking a housemate have to be such a complex thing where we're expected to draw up an essay of reasons to justify ourselves, I've given my reasons for liking Conor, if that isn't good enough then that isn't my problem really, it's not going to stop me supporting him

and we can discuss as much as we want why we don't like him.

you're offended by most threads anyway because most threads are either a Deana lovin or conor hatin.

funny cuz its you who use to say how unforgivable what he said is during first time we spoke here.

I don't get the point of this thread. We all like housemates for different reasons.

Redway 31-07-2012 09:18 PM

Hooray! Yet another well thought-out, logical thread for us to look forward to.

Wow what an intelligent bloke you are. Well done for totally contradicting and debasing your own statement.

'and lets forgive him it was weeks ago' yeah...that's all right. But then you went on to say 'funny coz the last time we spoke on here you went on about how unforgivable what he said was' contradicts your statement completely.

You look like a biased idiot when you say one thing yet do another.

Me. I Am Salman 31-07-2012 09:26 PM

You can't just drop what he said because it was a few weeks ago. If he said it once he would say it again, it proved what a sick twisted scumbag he is.

Anyway yeah I don't get the support for him. He's not entertaining in the slightest.

This has been asked already.

The thread had two replies in 5 hours. Neither of which answered the question. Then the thread dropped to page 2 :joker:

I'm not claiming to have dropped what he said because it was a few weeks ago.

rayheartbliss is. And then he went on to have a go at Vanessa and say that (s)he finds it odd that her opinion on Conor has changed drastically because of the incident a few weeks back. Smacks of hypocrisy.

Withano 31-07-2012 10:53 PM

Seriously people get offended to being asked to justify liking their favourite?! You have the choice to ignore it.. But most people would love to give reasons for liking their favourite.. It's kind of the point of the programme!

The first one was sarcasm (I assume)

You are quite right of course; you know a housemate is a bad'n when their supporters endlessly trash other housemates instead of writing about their chosen one's virtues.

Putting aside the vile things Conor has said, my main problem is this idea that he's 'fun'. I think he's about as funny as toothache. It's all false laughing with bared teeth: how many times did he squeal with laughter at something Caroline said or did, when he obviously didn't even understand what was going on. Then there's the stupid little games he and Luke S play with Becky, all for the camera, they're not funny at all, are they? They're just annoying really. If you add the fact that he holds onto a grudge like a rabid dog, there's not much to like in my opinion, but a lot not to like.

rionablue 31-07-2012 11:48 PM

Thanks to everyone who replied to the thread I started. Sorry if some of you thought it was pretty pointless. It all stemed from me reading so many people saying they wanted Conor to win, he was the best housemate, he shouldnt be hated or disliked. I dont share these views but I was anxious to know what people based them on. I agree Conor apologised but Im not so sure it was genuine. I felt that if he was genuinely sorry he would have laid off Deana a little bit. Deana is no saint either and I can see how she might not be everyones cup of tea but Conor hasnt given her a single break since the first night she nominated him and I dont like people who hold grudges. Interesting discussion though and again thanks to everyone who contributed xx

IMO worse things were said by Caroline about Adam....but Adam fans did not keep harping on about it for weeks on end.

As people have said Deana has just about wound every housemate up in the house....even Adam and Luke... so there is obviously day to day things we dont see on the highlights... I dont think she is the totally 'nice' and 'deserving' housemate we you been led to believe.

You think calling someone a name is worse than threatening to ram an epilator into a woman's genitals and knocking her out?

Caroline should have been kicked out for calling Adam a gorilla. It was disgusting, but I don't think, imo, it was worse than threatening sexual violence against another person.

He didn't apologise for it. Granted, Caroline's apology was, at best, pathetic, but at least she spoke with Adam in person. Conor never did with Deana.
