The winner is never guaranteed 100 grand anymore. This twist is stupid. The producers make up the rules as the task goes along. Free pass to the final.. oh no wait. Lets add money to the mix. It really is unfair.

I'm just catching up with BB and just when I thought BB couldn't ******* this programme up any worse than they have done...low and behold now I'm hearing they are going to give 50% of the prize money to a HM whilst the show is still in progress with 9 HM still in contention.

Really....!!!!! so I have a question has anyone on the BB production team ever actually watched Big Brother, seriously !!! for this is NOT a twist, this is NOT a clever or cunning ploy.

This is the latest in a long line of stupid, ill-conceived, badly thought out ideas that have ruined this series and now risk complete meltdown of whats left of the show.

This makes a complete mockery of Big Brother, Big Brother contestants have to WIN THE SHOW TO WIN THE PRIZE MONEY not get offered large slices of the prize fund for completing/winning a task against 1 other HM. Sheer lunacy......

What's the incentive to apply for this show if not to win the "life changing" prize (100K)

Too angry to write any more................

I think it's a bit dumb but only because it's too much to make it a really difficult decision, the actual principle of messing with the prize fund doesn't bother me that much because I don't think the cash prize is that important to Big Brother; if you were going to go on a show purely for the prize fund then BB wouldn't be a great choice when you're there for nearly 3 months and only have about a 1 in 17 chance of winning, and even if you do win the amount you get you could earn in a couple of hours on a lot of other shows. I still think BB is more if a stepping stone to money, even though you can't make as much as you used to be able to, if you're clever you can still make a fair bit of money off the back of BB through photoshoots, interviews, personal appearances etc

Its the way it was all decided thats bugging me. I never agree with messing with the prize money but it would have been more acceptable if ALL housemates had a chance of winning it. Not just the few HMs that BB handpick. Which is basically what they have done by making it decided on the families noms alone. There should have at the very least been a public vote to decide who went in the room, with ALL of the details available to us at the time of voting.

See I love prize fund twists and I'm usually the only one. The BB6 one was great (and fair...as they said 'would one housemate come to the Diary Room'), BB9's was alright, last year's was pretty poorly executed and this year's has potential, although I do agree the selection process for the White Room was very unfair.

The worst part is that they took the family nominations and specifically decided to choose the four with the least votes. It was very calculated because surely it would have been more entertaining to include all of the non-evictees. If Adam had had a chance to go in the White Room, things would have hit off. I'm sure they knew he'd fight to get in and fight harder if he got in. Then again why not just have the housemates with the fewest, i.e. Sara, Scott and Luke S: simple and easy but then Conor would have been left out. They literally chose to put Conor in the mix but not Adam. They thought about all this and made it happen the way it did.

The main thing that bothers me is how much of the prize fund they're giving away, I just believe that if we're being asked to spend our money to vote for a winner then that winner should be the most rewarded in there
