I must admit that I fear for the sanity of those deluded fans left behind after she gets what we call up here A BIG BAG O NOWT.

What "multiple" boos?? :conf: Deana got mostly cheers last night...The boos were reserved for Slagleigh & Becky :xyxwave:

Eugene Sully took £50,000 when he was offered it, leaving £50,000 for Anthony. He was given the choice of taking the money or having the prize fund doubled to £200,000.
Seeing as how Eugene came second and was one of my faves, I was delighted he took the money. I don't believe for one minute that Conor would have won, so it's lucky for him he took the cash.

This will happen. It's inevitable.

All you guys laughing at Bluerang1 for staying this. Yet you don't know how the vote would have gone down, so enough of the laughing?

The pure fact that someone like him won half the prize fund sickens me.

I totally agree with you. I also think the money should have started at £50.000 and counted down , forcing one of them to act quickly. i also think their buzzers should have stopped working the second it hit the 50k - in which case neither of them would have got it, that would have been a much better twist, rather than vile meathead getting that huge amount of money - that he really didn't deserve !!

Someone told me that Specsavers do hearing aids as well as glasses. Deana didnt get boos, lol. :joker::joker::joker: Hey maybe we all misunderstood her playing the victim card as well, who knows, we could be wrong.

No he shouldn't...He shouldn't have even been in there!
The whole thing is a political excersise if you ask me, it may seem a little way out or controversial to suggest that, but it's the only way any of what happened makes any sense.

Odds of 3 mins ago are Deana 11/8 and Luke a 7/4. nearly level as makes no difference bearing in mind that Deana was strong fav last week. Now what we need is for the deana supporters to say the bookies are never right after quoting them all week.:sleep::sleep::sleep:

Josy 04-08-2012 11:54 AM

He would never have been the winner, thats why he was right to make the choice he did last night.

Good on him.

Fair enough. I think however, most of us realise that. However BlueRang started a 'thread', and 'clearly' states 'Conor would have beaten Deana in the final', no speculation there at all, when the votes in previous weeks dictate otherwise, so if some do state that he wouldn't it is just in reply and some of us do find the thought that Conor could beat Deana laughable, and some of the laughing is on that fact, not at BlueRang.

deana's odds across the board go like this 11/10 6/5 6/5 6/5 6/5 6/5 11/8 6/5

Luke A is closest at nearly 2/1 with his odds looking like this
13/8 7/4 7/4 7/4 13/8 7/4 7/4 11/8

so it's almost evens v 2/1, and I can only see luke A making more of an arse of himself than he is already so he'll mess it up for himself leaving deana with a simple stroll over the finishing line.

Livia 04-08-2012 12:08 PM

The die-hard Deana haters are not going to believe she can win till she does. I think I'll remove myself from the silly, bitter, slightly hysterical threads for now and return after the final for my "I told you so" tour.

I didn't say she didn't get ANY boos, but she clearly had more cheers...

I think it is you that needs a hearing aid & perhaps you could take off your rose tinted spectacles while you are at it... :xyxwave:

Munchkins 04-08-2012 12:17 PM

Conor would have come 3rd, i think - he would definitely not have won imo
