I think it's kind of obvious Deana genuinely finds her joke funny and keeps making it because of that. Luke S makes the situation awkward by reacting like the robot that he is. Deana calling him Charlie reminded me of Big Bang Theory when the others make jokes with Sheldon and he's like -___-

She was shocked at Scott's task because she interpreted as Scott not being himself the entire time she knew him. Like she kept saying ''those were the best parts about you''. Now she doesn't have those, those things she found funny about him or didn't like about him, she didn't know what to think. She said she wouldn't sacrifice her BB experience to act as a pawn in BB's game.. That was what she said not ''you had an advantage over me''.

Deana's task was a one off and not something that lasted the entire way through. However she did have to handle the reverberations of it during her entire time in the house. People like Lydia and Conor taking an instant and lasting dislike of her.

Obviously Deana thought the whole thing was hilarious because she repeated the Charlie thing ad nauseum.There comes a time when you can see someone is not amused ,hurt even and then you stop.You don't repeat the same joke all day.Thats humiliating someone, bullying even.

Luke said to Adam he did not need reminding by her constantly, so obviously she is relentless with her "jokes". When Luke said he was nomming her she just said a smirky f- off to him.She is being nasty and lacks empathy.

She is taking the joke too far.She is like a cat with mouse as she knows Luke S is mild mannered and will not get angry, she senses weakness and is moving in for the kill. He is an easy victim.
Deana has played a good game the whole way through.She has been clever and manipulative.
She did not just mention the Charlie thing but offered to pay 50 grand for it too. She said it in front of everyone too, which trebled the embarrassment.She is picking on him.

She knows Luke is upset so why persist.She creates an uncomfortable silence when she starts up.Deana is wrong here.

luke s is a pretty complex character....hes into everything, he cooks, he knits, he trains, he studies nutrition, hes into all sorts of fashion, hes macho, yet hes camp too, hes controlled, yet he also keeps his cool under pressure, hes not particularly aggressive, yet he can be snappy at times, hes really into pampering his girlfriend too and has an atrocious tatoo on his biceps....etc even the shrink on big brother is bemused by this enigma

He's so infuriatingly boring and it's mainly because he takes himself so seriously. He might actually have a decent fanbase if he could laugh at himself and others. Unfortunately though the fact is he's a dreadful bore and will be the first out on finals night.

Also, Luke S mild mannered and unable to get angry? We must be watching different shows because the few times Luke S has been involved in anything noteworthy he started beating furniture up after Benedict left. He also told Deana she had "started a war" when she questioned his showmance with the tramp. Deana promptly shut him up though.

She felt she couldn't be herself and talk without someone making a bad comment about the things she said, so she turns around and start saying **** about others and acts like a bitch. Then what's Luke S? Exactly. She is only doing what he has tried to do to her. They have both tried humiliating eachother about their love of money. The only difference is that Deana is better at it than Luke and wasn't as affected by his attempts.

I don't think he's thick - this is just typical ego-maniac behaviour. Many bosses of companies and the like actually convince themselves they can't make mistakes, if called on it, even with evidence it doesn't register and they still deny or shift blame.

Deana is a stronger personality than Luke and he can't deal with it, which is why he has no answer - he can't be wrong in his mind but he has no comeback to the person with a stronger ego. The same reason he couldn't say much about the "Charlie" comments - his only logical answer in his mind is "I'm not called Charlie, I'm called Luke". She has mentally broken him as a horse trainer would a stallion and he cannot recover from that.
