How much did they make last year?

That's a shame, I liked Scott,however I was surprised when he went out the point he did,I really thought he would have a stronger fanbase than he clearly had in the end.

I do know of a lot of people who voted in last years series who stopped voting for anyone virtually halfway through in this series though, they were sick and tired of nominination twists as I was myself too.

He had the same problem as Tom last year, and not to do with him being gay. He basically spent the entire season playing a character he thought the public would like. The problem is, you can't sustain that for 12 weeks, viewers get bored, they see right through that crap. They want characters with flaws and faults, and positive redeeming qualities. Unfortunately, from my vantage point at least, he showed very little of his actual self.

His only shot of making money was the gay audience. Except he's not hunky and can't do slutty magazine covers or go-go dancing in a thong.

Gay HMs have very little potential. Yes, Scott was very campily gay but not to the extreme of Brian Dowling so TV presenting was never an option. Plus there's an abundance of effeminate gay guys on TV. He's not good looking enough to do the modelling thing (Arron has got the Attitude gig).

Gay HMs now rarely get showmance opportunities as there seems to be a 1 gay HM per series quota (BB5 had Dan potential with Marco and fake bisexual Jase, BB6 had Derek, Craig and Kemal, BB7 had Shabaz, Richard and Michael, BB8 had Seany, Gerry and Johnathan, BB10 had Charlie, Rodrigo - who tried to fake it, and David) but they are all effeminate and 'bottoms'. You need masculine Gareth Thomas types to get a showmance imo.

How do you know they're all bottoms? Or that Gareth is a top?

^ Gareth intimated as much in an interview ATTITUDE?? Scot in his convo with Caz and Becky about condomns said they would be for the other guy. Plus its kinda obvious.
