Also I have been thinking about what someone told me once. "people think that if you smile then you are nice and on their side, and if you frown then you are mean and against them."
It's an overly simplistic and dangerously inaccurate way to look at people. Someone may be completely justified in being upset with someone else, but if Big Brother only shows someone randomly yelling at another housemate then we decide the yelling person is the bad guy.
A lot of smart people learn that if they behave pleasantly then they can con you. All of us behave differently when we are in a conversation with someone else than if we are by ourselves. We all talk to our grandmother differently than we talk to our children or our spouse. Big brother is just one on one survival skills vs intelligently conning people who are watching from afar.
