Braden 02-09-2012 01:58 PM

Maybe he means in America? Let's face it, T-Pain and Chris Brown are hardly the most notable celebrities compared to others.

Shaun 02-09-2012 02:04 PM

He's probably confused Most Googled lists for his search history, bless him.

DanielLuis 02-09-2012 03:02 PM

Its obvious he was makign an imaginary list. I mean T-Who?

Lol i've no reason to know their names nevermind google them. I've still not after talking about them :D I don't watch any american reality tv or read celeb mags

Nedusa 02-09-2012 04:23 PM

I have just watched my first and last ever episode of "Jersey Shore", and to be honest
it makes our own reality shows like TOWIE and Geordie Shore look far superior. The characters in JS are unbelievably unrealistic and OTT. The situation is a complete dork with his silly haircut, badly worn baseball cap and i'll fitting ABS.

Can't believe BB thought this idiot would make a good CBB HM. Can't believe he's still in there !!!!

wendywillow 02-09-2012 08:55 PM

as a 'yank' i kind of wish cbb would pick better americans, (there were even better choices from Jersey Shore as well!) i dont hate him but hes a bit of a cliche of the worst of jersey (-:

According to USA News, most Googled people of 2011 were:

10 Ryan Dunn
9 Amy Winehouse
8 Steve Jobs
7 Charlie Sheen
6 Selena Gomez
5 Casey Anthony
4 Nicki Minaj
3 Lady GaGa
2 Kim Kardashian
1 Justin Beiber

But you sent us Michael Madsen last year, so you are forgiven for all time.

lostalex 03-09-2012 12:07 AM

I don't think he was lying. I think if he was hooked up to a lie detector test when he said it, i think he'd pass, because i think he actually believes what he said lol.

Even if it's untrue, it's not lying if you actually believe it.

as a "yank" i'd like CBB to pick better BRITISH celebrities too. Let's face it, it's the bottom of the barrel from BOTH sides of the atlantic.

I think the American housemates in CBB and in IACGMOOH are amongst the best, wittiest, and most entertaining, and never seem afraid to voice their opinions for fear of being nominated. Some do make me laugh though, when it's obvious they don't have a clue to start with what they have let themselves in for re UK CBB :laugh2: and have no idea who the other so called Celebs are :laugh2: Apart from this year which is the first year I haven't been routing for the Americans in CBB, they usually make the series bearable for me. Dirk Benedict, Stephen Baldwin, and Michael Madsen, have been amongst my favourites.

I went digging around through lists the first time he made that comment (which is most likely part of his press packet when they book him on Leno and Kimmel). The problem is there are dozens of lists in different permutations. Pick a criteria, and you can find a "most Googled" list to go with it out there on the net. I don't doubt that somewhere out there is a list configured in such a way that he landed on number 5, and that his agent put it in his bio as soon as they found it.

kinda sad, that he has to lie about something like that to make himself feel better ://

I think he's a bit deluded. Deep down he knows he's talentless so needs to affirm himself.

Everyone feels worthless and talentless deep down, insecurity it's part of the human condition. but the fact that you WANT to exploit that in anyone and want to see someone feel that way is pathetic and disturbing.

billy123 03-09-2012 05:05 AM

LOL what a saddo.

you are the last person that should be calling anyone a "saddo", bob. What makes you any better than Mike? Give us examples please.

I don't mind someone criticizing things that mike has DONE or SAID, but just calling someone names, like "saddo" is ridiculous and uncalled for.

I think we may be looking into this issue a little too deeply. Mike the "Situation" struck it lucky to win a part on a pretty worthless reality TV show , I saw an episode of this show "Jersey Shore" and can confirm it is absolute garbage.

But he has achieved fame of sorts as this programme attracts millions of viewers across the US, and of course money, money from the shows and money from endorsements , personal appearances etc.. So I think it's a business thing for him clear and simple. CBB is all about the money and further British Reality TV deals.

He must know he's a talentless nobody who struck it lucky and wants to milk his 15 mins of fame for all it's worth. I don't think his feelings of worthlessness or insecurity are relevant here, at the end of the day it's all about the bucks $$
