Ive had a total about face about Julie, she has turned what was turning into a borefest of a show into something really watchable...her delivery of the "news" considering alot of it is about her is second to none, and Julian has been superb in the face of the "mob". She has been the show's talking poing and played the game, and deserves credit for saving the borefest. The clip shown on BOTS in the DR with Julie, Lorenzo and Martin was really nice and Lorezno taking "the fifth" whe they were asked who was the biggest diva in the house was brillant..I hope she stays tonight now as I really want to see Harvey and Coleens face if she does, unfortunately she will probably get massive boos, and get turfed out...thankfully it wont affect the show, as Fridays show wont show any of the last day anyway..imagine what the show would have been like without Julie??? does Martin really deserve to stay over her I dont think so....still want Julian to win tho.

Well said Kizzy,I'm sick of people excusing her vile behaviour on her age!! How quickly some people seem to forget what she is like or maybe they refuse to see it,I've said many times people do not turn on someone for NOTHING.

Turning out?...They have always been bullies and julie was nana bully!
julie, mike,ashley,sam and harvey were formidable in that house and everyone felt it.
You could sense the tension, the victims rhian, danica and colleen sure could.
The worms have turned, julie is having a taste of her own medicine and she hates it.
I am in no way defending what harvey is doing but it is as unfair he is diong it to julie as it was when he did it to rhian...The age difference is irrelevant imo.

Many of the other HM's bitch and talk behind Julies back all the time. They are a bunch of uncouth, immature hypocrites. And of course she delightedly repeats that it was so bad it couldn't be repeated...hahaha. That old chestnut. Julian looks at her as if there is a bad smell under his nose. Love him!

When 'lightergate' happened (what a FUSS about nothing, and just another excuse to have a go at Julie), Colleen of the immaculate morals repeats loudly several times 'she wouldn't give you a light'!!!!! in a scandalized tone. Then 'THAT'S PETTY'!!!. She just loves to stir the flames with her barbed comments under the guise of concern. I cannot stand that scheming two faced cow!

Maybe if Julie 'did a Colleen' and dissolved into floods of tears and cornered people for sympathy every time something didn't go her way, they wouldn't pick on her so much. She's strong and won't let them beat her, but it's a disgrace how they have ganged up on her. They ought to be ashamed of themselves, for they are no better or any less guilty than she is.

I exclude Julian from the 'pack' obviously. He has been so kind and loyal to Julie - HE likes her, and he's no fool. I love how he pointed out to them that they were ganging up on her. JULIAN TO WIN!
The Situation isn't so bad either. He isn't an unkind person and has a good heart. Martin seems nice, but he has back stabbed Julie as well.

Anyway, I'm not going to watch any more of the series until the last hour or so of the final on Friday. I can't stand the hypocrisy any more. I can't stand the hate on here either and the horrible names thrown about for an elderly lady who in the grand scheme of things hasn't done anything that bad and has been entertaining and a good sport. It disgusts me. So I'll say bye for now and I hope to see you all at the 'Julian has won!!!!' after party! :dance: :dance: :dance:
I would hope you will still watch the series but I do agree with you as I have said in many posts of my defence of Julie over the forum, I also find it sad that she is getting such a hard time of things.

You say it all above really, I think you have made a truly exellent post there and if she goes tonight,I too hope Julian now wins over Martin too,who I was stunned that he nominated her this last time, he fell a good way with me for doing that after all he said before.

Overall,she has been supportive to Martin throughout the series and he knows that too.

Don't you think Harvey is out of order? He should have confronted Julie, instead of trying to turn everyone against her. He's a twat! :nono:

Whilst I don't like Julie - I don't like pack mentality and it does appear that the HMs have switched their alliance to Coleen after she was saved and they heard the "Get Julie Out" chants which is pretty juvenile and just goes to show that they all want to win and will form bonds with whomever can give them a stepping stone into the final.

Julie is not a particularly nice person - it is well publicised what a diva she is and during her time on Corrie I saw her out in Manchester on a number of occasions and she was rude the the public who "loved" her.....never forget who put you where you are as they can put you back down....

Lightergate last night was a bit pathetic and I gave Julie credence for not giving them a light after what she had heard as it can't have been nice BUT she also refused Julian who has done nothing but defend her.

Her age should hold no sway over how she is treated, respect is earned whatever age you are.

I sometimes think Julie think the public only see her when she is doing a task or in the diary room as her whole demeanour, even accent changes when she she feels the cameras are on and the public are watching - an act some might say?!?!...

They ALL slag each other off! So what? People do it it real life so she is being real... They all agreed with Julie when she slagged off those during the Gods task too! Now they are all doing what they accuse Julie of, hypocrisy of the highest order! And it actually does make a difference that she is 70, for someone that has been through so much in life she deserves a bit more respect...

Julie had no problem ganging up on the girls, or on Coleen, or on anyone that took her fancy.

She has no problem giving someone a kiss, telling them that she loves them and then nominating them, or b*tching about them.

Her age doesn't matter, its not an excuse for her nasty behaviour, therefore its not a shield for when her actions are reflected back.

Rather than Julie being 'ganged up' on, she's just been getting a taste of her own medicine - her just desserts.

I think the HMs reactions are mild by comparison to Julie's constant barrage of muttered remarks and barbed comments.

The syrupy sarcasm she's now adopted is even worse than her previous behaviour.

I wonder if her agent's been on to the CBB production team and has asked them to give her some opportunities to regain some of the control she had over the HMs, when she was being successful in pulling the wool over their eyes for the first couple of weeks?

Erm no one has had as much hate as Julie has been getting! I know she is not some sweet old dear thanks, she even knows this herself & joked that she is growing old disgracefully, but that's why I like her! I LOVE that she is a strong, fiesty old lady that speaks her mind :xyxwave:

Danica got some real hate here.

There have been some strong opinions about Coleen.

Jasmine...anyone remember what was said about her?

And if Julie is strong and fiesty, then she should be able to take as good as she gets. Which she obviously can't. She has been two faced, she has plotted, she has bitched and she has pulled faces since she went into the BB house.

After a couple of weeks of listening to Julie speak her mind, I think its about time that others got their opinion in. She loves dishing the dirt and doesn't seem to be able to take any criticism at all.

He's young enough to be her grandson and is still probably only half cooked, while she has years of experience on him, yet it seems to be okay with a lot of FMs that she was doing the rounds spewing poison in people's ears to get them to rid the house of people she saw as threats, ie other women. She's very clearly in denial. Surely she doesnt expect anyone to believe all the twaddle she spews out about herself: 'I've only been kind to the other HMs', 'I'm a really good actress', etc., etc.
