no, it's time you learned how to have a proper conversation where you exchange ideas instead of just throwing out patronizing cliches.

I have to agree with Alex. The 9/11 attacks had a much greater impact on society than any other bombings and completely turned around a lot of beliefs and marked the beginning of a different era for the world.

Still waiting to see a link to these suppossed murders...??

I am aware of specific US troops that have murdered civilians, and they have gone to trial in the US and been imprisoned for those crimes.. is that what you are referring to? They didn't kill 1 million though. i'm certain of that.

I love just sitting down and watching documentary after documentary about it during this time. Some remarkable and scary stories.

Kizzy 10-09-2012 05:59 PM

11 years...wow! I was glued to the television that morning...It was horrific.

fruit_cake 10-09-2012 05:59 PM

I like watching those two films that are almost the same about the plane that crashed in Pennsylvania

That's low Bobnot.

This thread sucks, I'm not posting again in it. People trying to trivialise 9/11 and make it sound like it was ok as there are other mass murders happening in the world.

It was a shocking day and 3000 people were murdered. Horrific regardless of all arguments.

Respect to NYC

oic, so every time someone gets blown up by an islamic terrorist bomb, you count that as them being murdered by the USA??

you have very twisted logic.

Who is trying to trivialise it?
3000 people being murdered is horrible 1 million people being murdered in response to it is at the very least 60x as horrible.
But then again they dont get lots and lots of sad tv shows with sad music in the background shown constantly so they musnt be as important.

I didn't even post that comment today :idc:

I was 2 years old when this happened. Then re-watching NBC's footage of 9/11 is horrific. Gosh, I can't believe it has been 11 years. It's weird.

A bigger tragedy is how many soliders and civilians have been killed in the following wars, tbh. I can't wait until the war in Afghanistan is over, the Western countries need to back off from the middle east and let them solve their own problems, we've caused so much destruction through our retalliation, much more than two towers.

All that being said, I still think 9/11 is a tragedy and its victims should be remembered.

It may be over for western troops
then it will return to Woman at a level of a dog.

That Nation
has had Russians , Americans, British
and othe nations messing with its roots,
They want Women out of any Education
so once all troops out those schools will be destroyed.

Scarlett. 11-09-2012 02:42 PM

That may be, but our presence there is generally destructive, countries get better through revolution, not occupation.

I tend to agree with Arista, I think that's what will happen too. You can't advance a society 500 years in just 10
