I have watched the flim on YouTube and I do agree that it is offensive to Muslims. It does insult the Prophet Muhammad (PBOH) with remarks against the Islamic tradition. But the way the Middle East and North Africa is unacceptable too. If you are offended you should write to the producer/government in asking for the video to be banned. Or held PEACEFUL protest. Violence and damage to buildings is wrong.

I watched this film on You Tube and agree it was totally offensive to Muslims in fact the film was basically a piece of blatant anti Muslim propaganda. It set out to discredit the prophet Mohammed by depicting him as a murdering , womanising , thieving bandit. It suggests the followers of Islam have the right to rape pillage and murder anyone who does not believe in what they believe. It states their beliefs are the only true beliefs and they are empowered to convert or kill ALL non believers.

This is pretty inciteful to all Muslims but to react the way we have seen by killing these Embassy workers almost reinforces the message in the film. Thankfully only a minority of extremists think violence is the answer, the majority of the worlds 1.3 Billion Muslims live in peace and happily coexist with people of all faiths.

most libyans can't even read or write in their own language, but we are expected to believe that they can write such perfect english? give me a break. Obviously someone from the government handed out signs to those people as a media stunt trying to appease Americans.

get real. The Illiteracy rate in the muslim world is through the roof. Most muslim adults in the arab world have the educational level of an American 8 year old. The reason they use flags and effigies to burn is not because they appreciate symbolism, it's because most of them don't have enuf education to actually create signs and banners. They can't even write their own language. They are illiterate and uneducated.

We are dealing with people who literally have the education of 8 y/o's, but we keep being told that we should talk to them? that we should try to solve our differences? how do you solve major world issues when your dealing with adults with the intelligence of 8 year olds?

it's so frustrating. they say we need to start talking to them as equals, but they are NOT our equals. There is nothing equal about us.

There's been quite a big backlash in Benghazi over this and the militia presence in Libya, there were big protests yesterday and 4 people have been killed after police & protestors stormed the Islamist militia bases

Oh dear, how ignorant can you be, Libya has one of the best literacy rates in the Arab world at 97.7%, they have a free education system even up to University level (unlike most Western countries) and it is compulsory for everyone to do at least 9 years of school
