well, i know far more male friends from high school that still live in our home town, and actually i don't know any female friends that still live there. I can't think of any of them that are still there. Also the male friends i have have definitely milked off of their parents more than my female friends.

But yur right, that's just my experience. it would be interesting to see a study on that. Who actually does milk off their parents more, men or women.

I could be wrong here but another thing that seems to be easier for women over men is homosexuality, I think people are kinder to lesbians than they are of gay people.

I know it's gonna be controversial but that's just how I feel about it, what do you guys think?

MeMyselfAndI 19-09-2012 06:21 PM

We're allowed our opinion, I think it's easier for women in general.

GypsyGoth 19-09-2012 06:21 PM

It's a patriarchal society, so I think men have it easier.

I don't think oh can even have an opinion in that, you don't know what it's like either way. Well unless you are gay

It's what i've saw at School that makes me think this, the guys got excited at the thought of lesbian sex and then the guys would then be repulsed at the thought of gay guys.

Marc 19-09-2012 06:28 PM

But other girls probably don't like lesbians. And what if the girl isn't attractive.. Guys don't want ugly lesbian sex. It's all extremely subjective tbh

I suppose your right, it's just that the girl that was a lesbian was probably the best looking girl at my School.:joker:

Well us guys have to start somewhere don't we?:joker: may aswell start with the traditional open the doors for them and ladies first statement.

Jords 19-09-2012 06:53 PM

Dont think either gender get it significantly easier.

Very bored of the childbirth arguement also. Yes its painful but the mother-baby bond doesnt come close to any other and mothers get maternity leave whilst men get something like 2 weeks off.

lostalex 19-09-2012 07:07 PM

i hold doors open for both guys and girls.

wait, so maternity leave, and "the mother /child bond" (which is an illusion, fathers have just as much a bond with their children) makes up for every woman being paid less and getting raped more? i don't think so.

Gillian-73 20-09-2012 08:10 AM

Men have it easier no doubt in my mind!

thesheriff443 20-09-2012 09:31 AM

more men are killing them selfes than women so for that reason men are finding it harder.
but in general it depend on the indivigual.

Women do seem to have better coping mechanisms. Think it's to do with maternal instincts that are inbred.....

Men do have it slightly easier but not so much now as they used to with equal rights for all... Do agree though that a lot depends on the individual..

Kazanne 20-09-2012 11:32 AM

After reading through these,I have to say I agree with lostalex,women/girls do seem to be the victims of most crimes and are more prone to bodily issues.

fruit_cake 20-09-2012 01:20 PM

men have it easier

Legend killer 20-09-2012 01:25 PM

Let's be real here in terms of getting jobs etc it is MUCH EASIER FOR LADIES if they show a bit of leg etc they are roughly 98% more likely to get the job then a male counterpart. This is mainly due to male weakness in putting the pussy on a pedestal

Legend killer 20-09-2012 01:26 PM

In terms of just general growing up defo men

Niamh. 20-09-2012 01:51 PM

I don't think you can generalise something like that on sex alone, not in this part of the world anyway. I think in some places though where women are still considered second class citizens then men have it easier

Kizzy 20-09-2012 01:59 PM

I agree with niamh, its a socialisation thing,
Western girls are encouraged to talk about their feeling and boys not so much, it is only recently that men are being encouraged to seek help and advice if they are not coping, not being able to talk to friends for fear of being percieved as weak.
Things are changing but slowly I think.
