Just because someone goes around wearing next to nothing does NOT give any man an "okay" to act in such manner. I think calling the police is OTT but Mikey had no right at all to do that to her.

amuseme 18-07-2006 10:16 PM

Its not just because of the way she dresses though. Prior to all of this she has been very flirtatious and jokative then all of a sudden she acts all shocked and victimised when she wasnt acting like that before

Foebane100 18-07-2006 10:17 PM

I think it was part of her plan to dress provocatively in the house so brought clothes in mind to do this, she has now decided this is a bad tactic but is stuck with what she brought. She does seem to have decided to cover up more these last few days.

Nowhere 18-07-2006 10:18 PM

Yeah i agree she shouldn't have to cover up,but i'm just saying, i'd expect a reaction like that from a shy little girl who hadn't a sense of humour. But i thought Aisleyne HAD a sense of humour,i mean, like another point someone made earlier, she was quite happy dangling on Glyns shoulders while every housemate slapped her behind :rolleyes:

GlitterEyes 18-07-2006 10:21 PM

But she had no choice in that really, Glyn just tried to be all manly and pick her up. Plus that was in a fun way a friendly slap, biting someones bum is more private I would of thought. Although it was intended as a joke im sure I think alot of girls would feel slighty uncomfy with a guy doing that.

Foebane100 18-07-2006 10:22 PM

Yes your honour we will accept this as precedence.

She has changed what she thinks is acceptable, but it seems some people have not caught up with the new rules.

Legend 18-07-2006 10:26 PM

The thing is though, i'm sure if Pete bit her bum then she would laugh and joke about it.
That's the only thing thats annoying me, maybe because everyone including Ash thinks Pete can do no wrong.
Btw, i still love Ash.

GlitterEyes 18-07-2006 10:28 PM

Guys obviously would see it as a joke but I think girls would feel umcomfy by it. Does anyone know if BB called Mikey into the diary room over it?

Also she's very flirtatious generally, to the point of someone thinking they have a chance..i don't disagree that mikey shouldn't have done it,but she was over-dramatic with her reaction.. And i think she knows Mikey by now,to know he's just having a joke with her,so she could have easily laughed it off,or retalliated by letting him know that she didn't find that acceptable, but in a lighthearted way...not in an amateur dramatics kinda way...

Also though, she was probably just getting annoyed because it's always HER that they all do it too, they wouldn't do it to Imogen, Jen etc.

I don't want to be rude, but i think,to most, Aisleyne portrays a kinda trashy,easy-going image..unlike Jen (who has a bf,who is a wrestler,so they wouldn't dare) and Imogen (who portrays a classier image) just my opinion, so they feel they can get away with it,with Aish.

GlitterEyes 18-07-2006 10:34 PM

I think Aisleyne is feeling like a victim because Mikey had slapped her backside before when wearing a thong. You never see him slapping Imogen? ...why? Why does Mikey feel it is acceptable for him to do that to Ais but not to any other girl? Just because a girl wears what she wants and with this hot weather gives no man any right to slap or touch her.If Aisleyne joked about it people would complain that she was "loving the attention" and because she expressed her feelings on the subject she over reacts?

It may not be,just what she's wearing that gets her the negative attention...maybe her personality and character also portrays "easy" I don't know,i'm not with nor against, but i do think she over-reacted,:bored:

GlitterEyes 18-07-2006 10:41 PM

Whether she over reacted or not is missing the point. The fact he should of never done that in the first place is the point. No matter what reaction she made im sure people would critisize her.

If a guy did that to me he would get a slap and I think that is how most other girls would feel.

EmilyJ 18-07-2006 10:47 PM

I don't think Mikey would be wearing a g string anywhere near Richard. The reason? Well he wouldn't want to give him the wrong impression. Ash has it on show. I have a thong bikini and I won't even wear it on holiday as I don't think it's appropiate. It's reserved just for my back garden and only then when I'm alone. The girl is flaunting it. the guys haven't had sex or relieved themselfs for weeks. She needs to get a grip.

Nowhere 18-07-2006 10:50 PM

I think her reaction is just as important as the incident itself,as we're discussing all aspects of the situation... But i think people are treating this more serious than it is, maybe that's Mikeys interpretation of being affectionate? I'm sure he didn't mean to hurt her feelings or cause drama,as he doesn't go looking for drama. I don't think Aisleyne would have made such a fuss if Pete had bitten her behind.

GlitterEyes 19-07-2006 12:18 AM

Why should she change what she feels comfy in to stop men from harassing her? Ok maybe harassing is a little harsh but the men in there have no respect. No matter what she is wearing she shouldn't have to be subjected to him doing that.

The only winner in this thread is the Daily Mirror. They published a 'nothing story' and get everyone talking.

Sells more papers doesn't it?

Wake up! :)
