I'd be rightly pissed off if I were you

CharlieO 13-11-2012 09:36 AM

you shouldn't ask for advice on tibb

Ammi 13-11-2012 09:42 AM

..it's as good a place as any Charlie..at least he gets a few different opinions..and then I'm sure he'll go with what feels right...

Fair enough about the second part but it is not as good as any other place sorry. Us whom waste our lives posting on a forum like this, really aren't the ideal candidates to give advice on real social situations.

Excuse me Charlie, don't lump everyone on this forum into one category. There's plenty of people on here who do just fine in "real social situations".

..I guess it depends on what you get out of the forum as to whether you feel it's a waste..and what you put into it....we all have experience of social situations, friendhips etc and our advice is as good as that of anyone else...whether the person takes any is up to them...

Excuse me Niamh, I do just fine also, more than fine in fact. But anyone who will waste their life on a forum like this still can't really say they're normal and can give normal advice.

That is so insulting. You don't know anything about other peoples lives, why is posting on a forum any different to reading a book or watching TV in their spare time? And why does posting on a forum mean that people don't have normal lives when they're not on here? I know I do.

Posting on a forum is pretty sociable, mote socialable than any other hobby or downtime

Not true. We all come form different social backgrounds on TiBB and yes I spend time on here a lot, but I also have an amazing social life. I'm sure others also do Even if they don't they can still offer opinions on how they may feel in situations.

I like you Charlie, but you really need to get your head out of your arse sometimes.

I never said people don't have normal lives when they're not on here. But posting on here takes up time of you life and therefore I don't believe its normal.

Then pity you Charlie as you'll be the one left behind in the world, nobody else.

Now I'm closing this thread for a bit to avoid it turning into another drama on here and to get it back on topic.
