ITV should be spending more money improving other aspects of it's portfolio such as the ITV player etc. The new logo does nothing for it's identity.

Some news on the ITV2, ITV3, ITV4 and CITV variations

It sounds like they're gonna try and focus on what the channels are about a bit more, which is a good thing.

Apparently, for future trails on ITV(1) they can pick three colours out of them and put them on the logo, ITV will no longer have a colour (Such as the old blue and yellow and yellow and black)

I have to agree, the new look actually suits what ITV is about, the last look was waaaay to corperate for a channel like ITV.

The 'T' looping into the 'V' looks nice but the 'i' makes it difficult to read, as someone else said it looks like a 'U'. Not keen on the colours either but on some other backgrounds it looks alright. I actually quite like the black/yellow colour scheme personally.

The idents are in need of a revamp though. And I prefer ITV1 to simply just ITV.

I really miss the old News at Ten era, when they first brought it back, they seemed more serious toward news back then, and then ITV news became all flashy yellow graphics.

I wonder what the ITV Studios/.com/Player logos will look like?
