The Voice actually needs to live up to it's premise, actually having a singer with the voice not some piss poor attempts at Rockers and R&B singers.

It's changed it's format, but not sure only 3 live shows is a good idea.

Deary, deary me. More live shows are what was needed, not less. Three?! Are they taking the piss?

Live stages are the highlight of most shows like this.

Maybe they should up the live shows a bit, but maybe it's just to test the waters and if it takes off they will up the live show count for series 3.

And I like the fact that they want successful artists unlike The X Factor who just don't care, but they need to get it right next year and actually get some good acts that will draw the ratings in.

Except with the Voice their ratings fell dramatically over the course of the live shows, the audition and battle rounds got nearly twice the number of viewers

No, he didn't murder Let It Be.... He slaughtered it with a butchers knife, put it in a plastic bag and dumped it in a canal.

That's because their live shows were so abysmally produced in comparison to X Factor. The difference in production quality was massive.

So they should be working on improving them and making them events like X Factor's are, not second-rate, dull, lifeless and devoid of any tension. Reducing the number of lives is a cop-out if you ask me. And seriously, how can three live shows possibly be enough? Three weeks of a public vote? Really?

The biggest issue you had this year along with the poor production was that you didn't get a chance to get to know the contestants like you do with the length that X Factor goes on for, three weeks really isn't going to help that.
