I'm 17 but I can pass for 19 because I'm really tall, apparently girls don't get ID checks very much, I can't wait to be 18 though.

I can get into the clubs where I live.

That's what we got told, even the lady we booked the holiday with said that because I'm younger than my friends and she said we probably would not get checked because they want girls in the clubs lol

When are you 18? :amazed: mine's in March!

To be honest I've read that they'll let pretty much anyone in in resorts like that so long as someone doesn't look like an actual child  so you should be fine, I doubt you'll have any problems tbh! And yeah, girls will find it a lot easier than guys to get in places :p

I think having friends who are 19 and 20 helps me a lot, a majority of my friends are older and so it's not a massive deal to me, it will be odd to be an adult though and taking a bit more responsibility. I'm the youngest of the family though, everyone else has moved out or gone to uni so I'm daddy's little girl, I won't enjoy when that ends. haha

wow you are tall or are all your friends small :suspect:

MTVN 29-01-2013 11:50 PM

Yeah you'll be fine if you're 17, when I went to Zante there were 3 of us who were 17 and never had any problems. Went to Maga a year later and thought that was a lot better than Zante as well, you should have a great time

King Gizzard 29-01-2013 11:54 PM

The ratio is like 7 boys to 1 girl anyway so they'll accept most

Jake. 30-01-2013 01:34 AM

Going to Zante in August, so excited :D and I love SS&Suspicious Parents

Black Dagger 30-01-2013 01:53 PM

The Dad on SSSP was amaze last night tbh.

Jack_ 04-02-2013 04:26 PM

Just caught up on last night's Magaluf Weekender. ****ing hell that girl from the group (the one who's Birthday it was and was kicking off cause she thought Jordan and her friend 'ruined' it for going back to the hotel early) was doing my head in. Telling her friend to get out of her own room and what she can and can't do...is she serious? :bored:

Also I love the narrator

The scousers dad from this week - The problem I've got is you going up to girls "Get your fried eggs out" :joker:

probably the best episode so far this series apart from the other group being camp and annoying.

King Gizzard 07-02-2013 04:47 PM

Skipped through this weeks TMW, looked a bit ****

not enough Jaime :hmph:

Jack_ 11-02-2013 12:15 AM

Was the last episode of The Magaluf Weekender tonight :( I've really enjoyed it, hope there's a series two!

Paul and Edmar were so cute at the end! And Jaime and that girl :o Jesus. Both amazingly hot. + Jordan a legend as per.

Harry! 11-02-2013 06:05 PM

The only one of these I watch is SSSP. It is so cringe worthy but addictive viewing.

Jack_ 19-02-2013 11:18 PM

The girls on SSSP tonight :laugh2: amazing. Think Scott would've loved them.

Black Dagger 19-02-2013 11:30 PM

The Magaluf Weekender has been commissioned for two more series :D :D

Quote:

ITV2 returns to Magaluf

ITV2 hit show The Magaluf Weekender will return for two more series following its successful first run earlier this year.

Twofour and GroupM Entertainment will produce 12 x 60’ new episodes of the fixed rig series.

The series was ordered by Angela Jain, Director of Digital Channels and Acquisitions and commissioned by Katy Thorogood, ITV Factual Commissioning Editor.

Each episode of Magaluf Weekender follows a new group of young people as they head to infamous holiday resort of Magaluf to party away a long weekend. And greeting them as they arrive is a group of colourful holiday reps who are always up for a good time.
With a network of fixed-rig cameras throughout the hotel, the show captures the highs and lows of these first, parent-free holidays.

Katy Thorogood said: "The first series really captured the feeling we all remember of our first holiday away from our parents. The intoxicating freedom, the raging hormones and the innocence and naivety of youth. Sometimes funny, sometimes painful but always entertaining to watch. We're thrilled that we're heading back to Maga this summer."
David Clews, Twofour’s Head of Documentaries and Executive Producer for the series, said: “It’s really exciting to be able to build on the success of the first series. Following the young holiday makers on their first trip abroad without mum and dad is fascinating, especially when they’re all on the lookout for a holiday romance. On top of that we’ll have a loveable cast of reps – adding plenty of their own dramas and Magaluf adventures to the heady mix.”

Tony Moulsdale, Head of Programming, GroupM Entertainment said: “The series is a fresh and considered look behind the façade of teenage excess. Needless to say we’re delighted to be working with Twofour to deliver 12 more shows to ITV2.”

Series 1 gained a peak audience in excess of 1 million and secured its place in the top 5 most tweeted about shows across every episode during its ITV2 run.

The Magaluf Weekender is co-produced by Twofour and GroupM Entertainment. The series is executive produced by Andrew Mackenzie and David Clews for Twofour and Richard Foster and Tony Moulsdale for GroupM Entertainment.

They've ordered 12 sixty minute episodes, so I'm assuming it'll be two series of 6 episodes again.

Jack_ 10-09-2013 08:46 PM

Series two of The Magaluf Weekender begins a week tonight at 9pm on ITV2 :D

Here's the trailer:

Surprised they're airing a show like this right at the end of summer as most of them are reserved for January time but I'm glad, makes more sense this way. It's a six episode series, I'm guessing they might've filmed twelve eps over the summer but will hold the other six back until the winter.

Jordan, Jamie-Leigh and Imogen are back but no Brett unfortunately, he's been replaced by some other guy.

Can't wait!

King Gizzard 10-09-2013 08:49 PM

Meeeh, brett's no big loss
