Apparently it's a done deal.
HBO have commissioned it and Fincher has signed on.

Not sure what kind of timescale we're looking at as far as when it'll actually air. I just hope they don't ***** it up!

Definitely one of my favourite British TV Shows in years!

I loved the series though, as i did the first.
One of the most interesting and original British shows in years! Gotta' love a show with this much brutality in it!!!:laugh:

I've been watching the first series of this and it's sort of compelling but I also sort of haven't gotten into it, I feel like it's brilliantly shot and the story is quite intriguing but the execution is just off, somehow.

The US remake has been picked up for a straight-to-series order by Amazon:

Would rather they relaunched the UK production, but at least the legacy lives on.
