I'm not a fan chuff. But what they have done is kept people talking.

Negative talk ,nothing that has endeared them,and you must have read all what was being said about them on here before they went in about they were going to rule the roost, take no prisoners, say it as it is (thats the best one ,EVERYTHING they have said about anyone has been behind theri backs ) they have let their fans down IMO ,there is only one person who has ruled the roost and said things to faces Rylan

perhaps not directly to your asking but throughout the many threads over this series and reading all those replies should be enough. same for what people have said about Rylan throughout.

Tell you what. I'll list the things they've done and if I receive no reply (which is 99% likely) then we can assume Chuff is deliberately trying to provoke reactions out of people (in other words trolling) seeing as many people will have given her a list that she's asked for but she's brushed it aside and continued to claim that no one's done so.

So:

- Immediately offended the other housemates in the main house by refusing to leave the Basement to say hello (the first sign of conflict in the series)
- Refused to do that drain task to give the other housemates in the house hot water and if Ryan hadn't stupidly done it that would've pissed them off more
- Kicked up a fuss over the Spencer/Lacey food passing task
- Heidi kicking up a fuss about Lacey being naked, her and Tricia (first time she did anything) visibly annoyed
- Two days of hilarity in the Basement as they delivered some classic lines about their fellow housemates
- Spencer understanding how dull the rest of them are, even telling BB that it's a sh*t cast and that all they do is sleep, and that they need to 'turn it up a notch'
- Generally understanding that this is a reality TV show and not a 'let's sit around, have tea and live in harmony' show, i.e. the need for drama to occur
- Their great Diary Room entires where they slag off the other housemates to high heaven and once again show how dull the rest of them are
- The fact that it's quite difficult to actually understand their game as Emma always says, they're very unpredictable and difficult to read, the other housemates aren't
- All of what they'd said in the Basement sparking the argument with Rylan
- Slagging the housemates off in the fake online chat task and then Spencer not giving a sh*t about it
- Stealing the other housemates wine and just walking off with it without a care in the world
- Not seen it yet but apparently losing Claire her letter or something and then clapping about it, obviously gonna piss them all off

Need I go on? I can remember many things they've done this series, now let's do the same for Tricia, Ryan, Frankie and Claire...

They're this year most talked about housemates. They've been nothing short of genius. BB keeps trying to control them , but they fail everytime. :joker:

exactly none of it.. all behind closed doors .. only time speidi have the guts to speak to people's faces is when confronted with snippets housemates have seen in DR or by their actions in the house.. and thats been .. Rylan watching out for his fellow HMs or defending himself ..not Speidi causing fights...speidi were just being assholes imo! not entertaining in anyway shape or form..

Is that it? I give you a list of reasons how they have singlehandedly created pretty much every single discussion that has started on this forum, on social media, in the workplace and on BOTS, and all you have in reply is a :rolleyes: smiley? I expected more of you Chuff, that's a cop-out.

The reasons I listed start debates. Pretty much every post, let alone thread you've made this series has been about Speidi. I'm being serious here, do you not get that if they weren't in the house, what exactly would you and practically every viewer of this series have to talk about?

Discussion increases interest, interest increases viewing figures, increased viewing figures keeps the show alive and stable. As opposed to:

Little discussion, high viewer apathy, decreased viewing figures, the show is axed. It's actually common sense.

Please, why can you not see this? I'm not even pissing about here for once, tell me how it would at all be logical for Speidi to have been evicted either earlier than this or before the final. Because it's not logical, it's completely damaging to the show. If there's nothing to talk about, who cares about watching?

Noone has to explain their posts...and noone should be made to..I don't like speidi at all.. I post my opinions if people choose to reply so be it.. if not not a problem either we all have different opinions and like different Hms - threads increase chatter sure kept all of us chatting about all HMs..for the record noone makes anyone watch just the same as noone makes anyone post on here...some things can only be said so many times before we get sick of repeating ourselves to be honest...

But the point is (and you can just read my reply to Chuff for the full explanation) is if you don't have housemates in there like Speidi who are creating so, so, so many discussion points, then what exactly are you supposed to talk about? This forum would be completely lifeless without stuff to talk about, and nobody would be chatting about it at school and work. Word of mouth is the single best form of promotion and if it's not being discussed no one cares, so no one bothers to watch and the show suffers. It's both cyclical and logical.

But don't you get that everything Speidi have done (as I've listed) has sparked a discussion? Practically every thread on this forum is about them. If they weren't in there, what and who are we supposed to talk about?! You can't discuss Claire's baking or Razor's snoring...you need divisive, interesting, potentially controversial events to occur so that people start talking about it. A show like Big Brother thrives off of discussion; forums like this would crumble if day in, day there was nothing happening in the house, shows like Bit On The Side would have nothing to talk to about, people in school and work would have nothing to mull over the next morning and say 'did you see Speidi and Rylan's argument last night, who's side were you on?!'. That kind of thing is integral to this show. If you don't have people talking about the show, be it the public, or indeed the press (and no paper is going to print stories of low interest, i.e. anything that's not an interesting event) then nobody cares about the show. You wouldn't watch a soap if it were full of extras and the duller characters and everyone got on would you? They thrive on drama just as much as this show does.

You don't have to like them as people (I don't, and most of their fans don't), but as housemates (and there is a big difference) they are essential components to this series. Seriously, take away everything they've done this series and what else has happened? Where does the public interest come from?
