I have no idea what these awards consist of Kizzy. I know nothing about any of the categories, but I'm sure I'll be getting more than a few votes. I can do that without major butthurt, so maybe others could too?

As always though, Kizzy, I'm really flattered by your on-going interest in my views.

I think anything that keeps the forum busy is a good idea. I don't mind who runs them. They're just a bit of fun anyway. Not to take seroiusly. :hugesmile:

I don't mind being voted and I'll follow it all if they go ahead, but I won't vote. I agree they can be really funny if approached in a light hearted, tongue in cheek manner, but they often become a way for people to be nasty and personal, which I don't like. :)

Yes, i think so. Not everyone is comfortable with it.

Yes, they do, its a crafty way for certain people to circumvent tibb rules (insults) and that is the main objection people have to them. Matt puts a lot of effort in and in theory it should be fun and lighthearted, IF it goes ahead again it needs to be strictly controlled and overseen.

For most people it's just a laugh. There are of course a few who use it to insult other forum members. But i think offensive posts aren't allowed anyway.

If people want to opt out, then they should. Opt out now and keep well away from the thread to save your feelings getting hurt.

I don't think anyone has an ulterior motive where the Razzies are concerned, and especially not JHC who started this thread. He probably wouldn't wait for the Razzies if he had something he wanted to say to anyone.
