It would be tough, not being able to have children with her would be an issue as I really want kids

Me. I Am Salman 26-02-2013 05:27 PM

No.

Saph 26-02-2013 05:31 PM

I chose no, i'd be their friend but wouldn't want a sexual relationship with them.

Redway 26-02-2013 05:37 PM

No. I have no problem with transgender people but there's no way I'd have a relationship with one.

Jake. 26-02-2013 05:40 PM

It would be a harder situation if you were deeply in love with this person imo

Northern Monkey 02-09-2013 07:06 PM

No!I could be friends but nothing physical.

Shaun 02-09-2013 07:07 PM

Wouldn't rule it out, so I've voted yes, just because I wouldn't categorically write off a whole demographic

MeMyselfAndI 02-09-2013 07:08 PM

Nope, but I'd be their friend

Monkey Slut 04-09-2013 09:51 PM

Yes I would date them.

This is what I was about to put . I really want kids . So.. The answer to the poll is No

mizzy25 05-09-2013 03:39 PM

I have answered no I just couldn't really see myself with someone that used to be a girl and is now a guy. Like most people though I have no problem being friends with them. Infact the whole thing fascinates me. Maybe as when I was a lot younger like 20 odd years ago, my friends then boyfriends sister was having a sex change from woman to man. I think my fascination stems from there.

aman201 06-09-2013 09:15 AM

Absolutely no chance I would.

Mystic Mock 13-09-2013 05:27 PM

No I can't help it but I just wouldn't be able to do it.

But maybe if I was dating them for a few months and then they told me then I might feel differently. (even though it might make me angry for a bit that they tricked me like that)

I know I'm messed up in the head as I've just contradicted myself all in one post, but that's the only way I could date them or stick it out with them.

swinearefine 18-09-2013 08:47 AM

I could easily love someone transgender but I wouldn't have sex with them because I'm only sexually attracted to men. I don't really adhere to the whole dating/relationships/monogamy thing anyway so it wouldn't be an issue.

Vanessa 18-09-2013 08:49 AM

It's possible. :)

That doesn't sound messed up at all, it's fair enough.

I would be wary of anyone who is so unhappy with themselves but they are prepared to undertake major and unpleasant surgery in order to make themselves feel psychologically better.

Natalie. 05-01-2014 12:21 AM

I would be their friend and be accepting but I don't think I could have a sexual relationship with them but who knows I guess. Couldn't rule it out

Hi Jack, good to see you back and happy new year to you.

I agree with all you say above, like you I similarly couldn't know the answer now at this time.
I guess too if I was really to fall in love with someone, it also as you say wouldn't matter then.

Great point and I think it's impressive that you can sum up an important issue in so few words, whilst simultaneously dismissing anyone with gender issues.

Nothing a good cup of tea and a chat wouldn't cure. Then we could do away with all this cutting off your bollocks, nonsense.
