I love when my back cracks, it doesn't happen too often, usually accidentally when someone hugs you too hard but it always feels so nice

When I was at school, we used to actually walk on each others backs to crack them

The damage we might have done back then scares me a bit tbh

I used to crack my knuckles.

After a while I realised my hands ached for no apparent reason so I stopped.

I was probably started to get arthritis or something :bored:

My knees crack too. And yes I do crack my knuckles. I hope the old wives tale about it causing arthritis isn't true.

Worry not :)

Cracking your knuckles does not cause arthritis. Understanding what physically occurs when you crack your knuckles will help you realize that the "knuckle cracking causes arthritis" theory is actually just a popular myth.

It is one of the most horrible sounds ever imo, my toes crack sometimes when I walk and it does my head in.

my toes do the same, when going up stairs.

GypsyGoth 07-03-2013 09:53 PM

The sound is made by bubbles popping.

Different bits of my body, mostly knees and elbows tend to crack when I unfold from a chair :D I can't crack knuckles and toes though. I can make my left thumb crack as it appears to be double jointed :D

I adore cracking my knuckles. And my toes, ankles, knees, neck, elbows, wrists, and back. The only problem is I can't think of anything else to crack </3

I crack a lot, think it has something to do with hypermobility, or we are all just crackers?...I'll get my coat.

Sometimes when i'm sitting Indian style for a really long time, when i uncross my legs my knees will pop, and it really grosses me out.
