When in doubt, Patrick, Run. So at that time you did the right thing. However, if you were still feeling jumpy/paranoid or whatever else, why take the risk of smoking a heavy joint that is going to play on any paranoia, in a place where you might bump into any of that gang again? On the other hand, you can't virtually stay a prisoner in your own home either, the situation needs dealing with and probably the sooner the better.

Yes you were probably right to run when you did but the bolded bit screams out that you really should stop smoking green, you are just clearly one of those people that gets far too paranoid and basically becomes a hermit when your on it.

Just my opinion.

Of course you did the right thing. One person against a gang is not a fair fight.

Next time, drink a few pints of Stella with the weed ....you'll be (or think you are invincible) an face those bullies down.

-get better friends
-stop "hanging" around parks etc.
