Glenn. 18-05-2013 06:56 AM

If thats the case I think you need a new username DTM :joker:

Marc 18-05-2013 06:59 AM

I've started to do them more often now

lostalex 18-05-2013 07:02 AM

you can buy a decent bottle of wine for 6 bucks, and you get 4 glasses per bottle. that's not too expensive.

Can't stand naps, they **** with my mind too much. But I'm kind of in a permanent sleep-induced mind**** anyway because I just sleep at random times or go days without it.

Kizzy 18-05-2013 10:13 AM

Beginning to understand the importance of them, read somewhere that just 25mins improves cognitive awareness and helps defend against premature dementia.
Some people just need more sleep than others, my son and I need 8hs at least and my daughter not as much, funnily she was the one who slept in the afternoons as a kid and my son and I didn't, l think all kids up to school age should have a nap after lunch.

Apple202 18-05-2013 10:19 AM

no they're awful

Lee. 18-05-2013 10:22 AM

Catnapping is healthy.. I like a cheeky wee half hour on the couch during the day if I can :)

MTVN 18-05-2013 10:51 AM

Feels like I'm wasting a bit of my day if I have a nap, only have one if it's really necessary like if I'm shattered before I'm supposed to be going out

Cherie 18-05-2013 10:57 AM

Don't like napping in the day. but on holiday it's different find a nice shady corner of the terrace and drift off ... and I walk up fine unlike in the UK when I wake up feeling like death.

Oh and napping to the sound of the sea

I actually hate the beach as I don't go in the water and I hate the feeling of sand on me, but nothing beats dozing off hearing the waves wash up the beach

I do love having naps they can be so revitalising.

Vanessa 18-05-2013 05:24 PM

I only have naps if i'm off work. I love them.

Ninastar 18-05-2013 05:31 PM

i have a nap every night and then have about 5/6 hours sleep at night

i wake up so much easier in the morning when I do this. i've tried nights where i've gone to bed at 10 with no nap and i can't get up in the morning.

naps <3

Vanessa 18-05-2013 05:36 PM

When i doze off in the afternoon i usually sleep for two hours. :joker:

 I hate it when someone leaves the heating on all night or puts it on full blast, I then wake up with the driest mouth in the world and covered in sweat making me feel groggy and awful.

I like to leave my window open slightly so I can feel a slight breeze in the room but then I'll moan when all kinds of spiders and flies find their way in. :D

the problem is probably that you don't have a few glasses of wine with dinner. Remember you should have at least 2 glasses of wine with dinner and then you'll sleep well through the night. I read that somewhere, maybe the BBC, but don't quote me.

I've heard that half a glass of red wine a night can be good for you but two glasses to a "few"? That sounds excessive, transforms your sleep problem into a drink problem. :D

..yeah, I do agree about the heating, Marsh..I have it on a timer so that it never stays on at night and if it's on during the day and I fall asleep, it makes me feel quite groggy and awful..I always have windows open as well as I have to have some healthy air blowing through...it's the mosquitos in summer that annoy me most...

Jords 18-05-2013 06:30 PM

Best thing ever

GypsyGoth 18-05-2013 09:18 PM

I don't do naps. I think it's cause I drink a lot of coffee.
