Maybe in the US. I'm not particularly a fan.

joeysteele 03-06-2013 03:03 PM

Cheryl Cole inspirational!, it must be for being a foul mouthed loudmouth and total waste of space then.

Jords 03-06-2013 03:08 PM

Cheryl gets a lot of tacky hate, fair enough if youre not keen but its tedious reading the same playground insults time and time again. Shes long moved on from the toilet attendent incident.

Heck I bet many people have family members or friends that have done pretty awful things but you forgive if theyve matured into a better person.

Inspirational? Not really. But a nice enough woman who stands on her own 2 feet and has come from nothing? Yepp.

Tulisa on the other hand is living up to everything shes been branded, and Im no longer a fan of hers.

Maybe it is just an American thing, but I hope not. I think she has done so much for women around the world.

I agree... As annoying as Cheryl can be, a lot of that just comes down to the fact her face is everywhere, it's nothing to do with her as a person, I think people just get sick of the oversaturation of Cheryl Cole everywhere they look.

She (quite rightly) represents US interests so I can see why the US would view her as inspirational. What I think she has mainly taught women is that your husband can shag around all he wants and get away with it if your political career is worth more than your self-respect.

Yeah... but 'inspirational'? Erm... no.

What makes you think she hasn't shagged around herself? or that they hadn't already talked about that in some capacity before hand? It's easy to make a woman look either weak or inadequate by a husband cheating. But there may be a bigger story. Either way, the sexual details of a couple's relationship are no business of anyone but that couple, imho.

Well, when you're President of the United States with all the rank and privilege that affords you, you have some kind of moral responsibility, I think. And if you really can't keep it in your pants for the duration of your office, you should seek some kind of counselling, I reckon.

If Hilary did cheat and didn't get caught, it's just more proof, if any were needed, that she's smarter than Bill.

I think it's just sex. I don't think it has anything to do with morality. If it does have to do with morality, it's to do with the unrealistic sexual morals society forces on human beings.

But the truth is that Sex is just like eating and sleeping. It's just something we all do. Some of us attend to those needs in more sophisticated ways than others. Some People eat fancy french meals at 5 star restaurants, and some of us eat burgers at mcdonalds, but we all eat. and it's all the same **** in the end.

When it comes to politics, I think we need to focus on the work.

Yes, sex is just sex... but what about that bit in the marriage ceremony which says "... and forsaking all others". If you're going to get married, you have to follow the rules just like if you're going to be president, you have to follow the rules. It's just the way it is.

We are all judged by our actions.

We don't know the rules of that marriage though. And it's none of our business.

Once again, if you're President of the United States, it kind of is your business if he's going to make adultery look acceptable. And judging by the furore that followed the disclosure of his affair, plenty of people in the US agree with me. Also, he was in a position of power, which makes him sleeping with a subordinate look even less acceptable.

We'll probably have to agree to differ on this one Alex.

He wasn't sleeping with her, he just stuck a cigar up her twat. but yes, we'll have to agree to disagree.

If Hillary stuck a cigar up Putin's ass would Bill really be that mad? who knows.

might as well have put Kim Kardashian on the list. It couldn't get any sillier.

Now, to be fair to Kim Kardashian (and I absolutely hate the Kardashian circus), I'm sure a lot of very lazy people look to her as an inspiration. She's become rich(er) beyond her wildest dreams for having no talent and no personality, she's tricked her way into the A-list and bagged herself an A-list boyfriend. She's an inspiration to all those out there who think that if they can look good enough, in the right place, at the right time, they too can live happily ever after without having to lift a finger.

joeysteele 03-06-2013 08:57 PM

Re-Hilary Clinton, I am neither for or against her at all but I do think she was a really good Secretary of State for the USA, I also actually think she could be a good President too, whether she gets that chance again or not is clearly uncertain.

Cheryl Cole though, what on earth has she done.
I have had a brief time, around 3 years ago, where I was in the same place as her and I for sure hope I never have the misfortune of that happening again,so from my perspective, I have no time for the woman whatsoever.
