Well Speidi did suck so it's fine. And tbh vote to save doesn't always "work" either so I don't get the fuss over this.

People are ridiculous to already assume the series is going to be crap. Lets remember the best series have used vote to evict and even with vote to save, the most entertaining housemates were gotten rid of last year.

I agree Speidi are overrated as housemates and if they had been in basically any other season I would have wanted them out, but they were the only people doing anything in CBB11 once Paula left. And obviously vote to save doesn't always work, but it definitely works better than a vote to evict.

I know most people love him on here, but I didn't want him to win. Granted, he was one of the most interesting, but I voted for Alex because at the end of the day she entertained me more. So yeah, bad example mate, sozz.

Vote to save works depending on the view you have. Vote to save helped Conor out big time (also the people he went up with went nuts for that week), and that pissed many people off.

Exactly this. Plus it reduces the power of the teen girl vote.

Although Conor did play a big part in that series and it was interesting to watch, it helped him in the long run to stay in and also go on to win 50k. If it means people like Conor don't get the chance to win such money again, then good. I don't mind people like Conor doing 3 or 4 weeks, after that I am happy for them to go. Only nasty *****s like Conor.

Personally, I don't think VTS made much effect, if any. Benedict, Lydia, Caroline etc still all went in vote-to-saves last year.

I like this method to be honest let's us get rid of the Connor types. :)

It only didn't work last series because there was too many head to heads. So it's basically turns into a vote to evict....

Dunno why anyone would want to get rid of the most entertaining HM from a series, but there you go :p

Benedict and Lydia went in a 2 way, which makes no difference. If there was 1 more person with them, they would have stayed. Lydia would have GONE on Day 3 instead of Victoria actually.

And Caroline was EVICTED. In the VTS, she was never bottom, she didn't come bottom until lines were re-opened in a 2 way, which is basically a VTE. Had they had 1 vote reading or even just two, Luke S would have gone, NOT Caroline.

They literally did nothing though. They sat by themselves and avoided confrontation and didn't talk to anyone, it was boring. The "everyone vs. Speidi" storyline was stretched out for three weeks when it only had enough substance for one week. Take them out and we actually have the chance for cracks and fissures in the main group. CBB11 was horrid because it was all about Speidi, just like how BB12 was horrid because it was all about Aaron.

Vote to save never worked when there was 2 or 3 housemates up anyway.

For it to be effective there should be 4 or more up (eg stupid quad eviction in bb11 should have been VTS, then we would have had a good final)

I would rather get shot of him given that he threatened sexual abuse on a female housemate and was awarded with half the prize fund. ;)

The vote to evict might still work I am imagining that the viewers are mostly on forums now anyway given the smaller audience we can't say how it will turn out now we have lost 6 million or so viewers! :D

Channel 5 turned it into the person with the most fans wins, now its the person with the most haters loses again and its gonna be boring as hell.

Fans say they want a vote to save with a minimum of 3 people up (which would solve the reverse vote to evict problem when it's head to head)...what do they give us...vote to evict.

It's time to wheel out this video for the first time this series...
