"Jolly Hockey Sticks" refers more to social class. Don't you like her because you think she's posh, or because she's older than you? She's not my favourite but your hatred seems a little excessive. Lucky you're not ever going to get any older.

i like her a lot but she needs to cool the dramatics and dancing , its ok now and then but this is bb not britains got no talent lol

Jackie (so far) reminds me of a 'jolly hockey stick' type - a type who is all 'surface' and not much else. Endlessly jolly and sporty. Not a type I could relate to long term. And her dancing made me cringe - she looked like a demented carthorse. Ugh.
It's just your OP was about who you think she is outside the house, not actually based on her in the house. Just a bit bizarre is all.

You seem to dislike her for who she is and can't change more than what she's done; her social class, her age etc.

What hatred? Steady on there. :shocked: She irritates me because she's way over the top, she's trying too hard, and her dancing is embarrassing. She's not a type I would gravitate to in my real life. Simple as that.
I dislike Salli too. Should I defend my right to that also? Are we not allowed our opinions now without being accused of some dark ulterior motive?
Watch out people. Don't say you dislike anyone without thinking long and hard and be ready to explain yourself in great detail. :rolleyes:

It's not the fact that you dislike her, it's your reasons. She's old and she's trying to interact with younger people. Oh NO! And she's "over the top"... whereas most of them are so shy and retiring, right?

I didn't say she was old. I didn't say she shouldn't interact with young people. I was referring to the WAY she was with the young ones - OTP, trying too hard, her maniacal dancing.
Do you look for hidden meanings every time anyone expresses a dislike of someone? I expect disagreement and debate, not the third degree.

And I don't even hate her, just dislike her. What I do hate is that people can't express an opinion without it being picked apart and made into something it is not.

People are allowed to express an opinion here, try not to feel too intimidated, this place is a bit like the BB house in many ways, it can get intimidating if you let it, but it can also be very interesting and enjoyable imo.

Judging by her VT, the flat pack furniture doesent look like she is all that posh. maybe just a wannabees like 99% of the house.

just put a little bet on Jackie winning the whole show. Was worth the little risk with her odds being 25/1, I reckon she is, and will continue to be pretty popular this series.

Just watched last nights ep of BOTs, why did Jackie not want Charlie and Callum to dare kiss, it looked like she instigated the game, is she interested in Callum for herself? or just being hughly overprotective?

I could be wrong but I wonder if Jackie likes being centre of attention, she couldn't have Charlie stealing her thunder, much in the same way as Jem couldn't stand it when Faye was centre of attention.

Yeah I was pissed off at that. Charlie looked up for it aswell.
