I think they used to put housemates into seclusion, but the likes of Sallie was DJing the weekend before she went into the house, and plenty of others were still tweeting.

But yea I would hope that since the production team knew they would be sending them in, and the amount of secrets that would be uncovered by fans (and BOTS stupidity) could give the new HM too much info/power, so yea I hope they were kept internet free.
