He comes off as 'sly' because he's put in a house where the general idea is to create drama and manipulate peoples feelings and perceptions, which catches him off guard as he doesn't want to ruffle feathers. I guess we'll see though as this series goes on, if this is all an act it'll come out eventually. I agree he hasn't brought much to the house yet though, and he very well could be a waste of a housemate, but let's be honest, Sam & Sophie have done much less lol.

I find him controlling ,even the way he speaks ,always in the one tone.I believe he keeps a lid on his temper.I don't like the guy.
The way he paws Charlie while telling her she has no confidence:nono:

If I were Jackie Travers I'd take him to one side & tell him in no uncertain terms to keep his lecherous creepy hands off my daughter, then do a funky dance across the room...

I am surprise Jackie hasn't been more vocal in telling Calum off. OK so Charlie is 27 but Jackie over mothers her with everything else so it's kind of shocking that Jackie will just sit there whilst Calum slowly - and creepily - will stroke Charlie's thigh.

MatthewS 03-07-2013 02:47 PM

I'd really like to think that if Charlie had a problem with Callum being too forward, she'd be mature enough to handle it herself. It's not like the affection between them is a one way affair, they're obviously both keen on eachother.

The fact that Jackie doesnt do that would suggest she does not see it like you do.

Both of these, Dan is absolutely right, his niceness is awkward.

MatthewS 03-07-2013 03:02 PM

...or is being 'nice' in the BB house just awkward in general? It's like he's being faulted for never having a proper argument or talking sh*t about people.

Yes, apparently been nice & not wanting to argue is a sin!

Jemal 03-07-2013 03:35 PM

So basically being nice and not making any trouble is a bad thing in the bb house lol. Im done.

Pink Pegasus 03-07-2013 05:55 PM

I like Callum. I think I would get along well with him if I was in the house.
I don't think he's fake and sly, I think that he probably just doesn't like confrontation and is a people pleaser who genuinely wants to get along with everybody (but not solely for gameplaying reasons).
He disappointed me when him and Daley were doing that 'get dexter out' chant.
Aside from that though I think he seems nice and I hope if he learns anything in the house, that it is not to fear confrontation so much, to stand his ground, and that it doesn't matter if everybody doesn't like him. He shouldn't waste his time worrying about it.
Although that being said, I think that when pushed to it he probably can stick up for himself fairly well if he had to.

rionablue 03-07-2013 06:29 PM

Cant stand him. He is useless as a housemate and Im surprised Charlie hasnt seen through him. Even though she made her position clear they are still being all touchy feely with each other. If I hadnt had sex in a million years and he was the only man I could have I wouldnt want him. Not even goodlooking! And the way he nominated Dan over Gina was dreadful

joeysteele 03-07-2013 07:26 PM

He hasn't impressed me as a housemate, he is another that twists what others say and add his own take to it.

I had high hopes when he went in and I have seen him be really good and funny on the live feed he does a great impression of Jim Carrey.
I find most of his actions sneaky and false now though sadly.

He still has time to change though and come through.

I don't think Charlie is remotely attracted to Callum. She is just loving the attention imo. I think she prefers Dan but he's a non-runner and Daley who is with girlfriend

He showed his true colours ,by that nomination IMO ... when he said "I couldnt think of anyone else " "I thought my vote wouldnt count " ? oh come on ,if you cannot tell Dan in honest way why you picked him ,dont bother trying to excuse it ,he looked very silly and sneaky to me

alex_front2 03-07-2013 07:33 PM

I hated when they say 'oh i didn't think my vote would count' it's as if they are claiming they know how the house would nominate. you can never know, the previous week jemima did not equal gina or dexter but was still up. 1 nomination could have put someone else up.

Also if I were in there and I didn't like Daley I'd still nom him despite the fact noone else would. I could have nominated sophie and be pleasantly surprised that sam did the same and she would have gone up.

I agree, you can see it in her eyes that's there is no attraction on her part.

I really don't like Callum, he is creepy and fake. I'm glad Dan is onto him. Thought it was pathetic how he lied and dragged Gina into it, he really made himself look stupid.

Also it annoys me how he thinks he's something special when he's really not

vortex 04-07-2013 06:30 AM

Callum is such a creep I don't like this guy, the way he massages Charlie makes me cringe, specially on tonight's episode where he was saying how he feels relaxed aswell by massaging Charlie and his mr. nice act is pure bollocks, if he is indeed that nice then he shouldn't be on BB at all, not saying he should be like Connor or Becky but more like Tom or Gina, being extra nice and polite will get him far but I dislike these type of Luke S housemates.

PooBay 04-07-2013 06:34 AM

If he came within 100 feet of any female member of my family, I'd break his legs! Proper wrong 'un, that one.

Visage 04-07-2013 07:33 AM

From his VT I was really looking forward to watching him play the game in the house.

Since then he's just in the background trying to seduce Charlie.

He reminds me of Norman Bates. He just comes across very creepy.

actor99 04-07-2013 08:53 AM

Callum is certainly not as bad as people are saying. looks at the rest first. like Dailey. Even san. does nothing Hazel. Dan crying. the biggest game player of all Dexter. and everybody likes him. Ide sooner have Callum as a mate than him. remember Callum did ask to leave. if your playing a game. you don't ask to leave.

Mr. Fake sincerity, in person. "I hold up my hands", I look you straight in the eye" said while still lying through his teeth after being caught out lying. He should be running a game show on TV. Smarmy prick.

Urgh, I wanted to throw up when he was giving Charlie a "sensual" massage and he had his eye closed and was kinda rolling his head about

auntysplat 04-07-2013 10:11 AM

I think he is ok, he took Dan being right up in his face ok, if that had been me I would have laid Dan out he would not **** about being nominated instead of Gina, tell me, tell me about Gina WTF, (I am a Lady, still would have had to punch him)

chuff me dizzy 04-07-2013 10:16 AM

I found his head massage on Charlie last night very creepy ,his voice and the way he sat with his eyes closed .....weirdo !!!
