Funny how the great detective took so long to work out he's gay! Hazel and Dan's relationship is interesting and does seem to be about power. Though I find him annoying (and I think he'd be difficult to live with), there's no denying he's run rings around the housemates. He has a powerful personality and Hazel has taken shelter under his wing on more than one occasion. Yet I feel like there's a lot we don't know about him and I believe he'd love to have someone draw his story out of him, but no-one's interested, sadly.

Agreed, they snuggle like "girl friends". I also had two housemates when I was at uni - both male, both 100% straight - who were quite "snuggly" with each other. They're just very close friends and tactile people. So... It might be unusual, but certainly not unheard of. Definitely not unusual for gay males and their female friends to cuddle up. Just look at previous years all the way back to Brian Dowling and that girl he was close to... Can't remember her name... But they were the same. And tom and Alex a few years ago.

Being camp is not a reliable sign of gayness, in fact I'd hesitate to try and set out any definite indicators other than someone having sex with a person of the same gender.

I'm quite sure it's fairly sexual on Hazel's side but not very much, if at all, on Dan's. Hazel has seemed like she's had the horn pretty badly from the word go, not that there's anything wrong with that...

By portraying herself as a very sexual person, possibly to enhance her 'glamour' career? Well it wouldn't have hurt, and if Daley had been a nice person, she might have copped off too.

That sounds like an attempt to excuse Daley's behaviour if ever I heard one. He alone is responsible for his actions and to suggest otherwise is just backwards thinking.

It's a bit too "bromance" for my tastes and not something I'd do myself, but I promise, neither of them are gay. One had a girlfriend at the time (sometimes the all snuggled up together, ... Seriously...) And the other brought home his fair share of girls. One now lives with a long term girlfriend and the other is in a serious (heterosexual) relationship, too.

So like I said - it might be unusual but not unheard of!

I also do have a gay friend and he's always snuggling up with female friends. It's pretty much the norm as far as I've seen.

If you watch the "incident night" video it's pretty clear that's where she's trying to take it, until he goes darkside and scares the crap out of her.
