For anyone complaining about outside contact... dexter wan't able to touch or even talk to his mom so what you complaining about it was the task... read below

Day 34: Remote Control - Task alert!

For this week's shopping task housemates will be at the mercy of Big Brother’s Remote Control.

This Remote Control will pause, rewind, and fast forward housemates throughout the two day task. Big Brother gathered housemates to the sofas to play them sounds that signify each order. Decrease and increase volume are also to be functions, and the housemates truly enjoyed gabbling at the tops of their voices as they trialed that particular baby out.

In order to pass the task, all housemates have to do is obey the Remote Control – no matter what else happens. Big Brother will be sending in distractions to test the housemates’ resolve including a flock of sheep, a dance troupe and even family members.

Any failures to remain paused in the face of adversity, or failure to react to a Remote Control command will incur a fail. Housemates are allowed a pre-determined number of fails, which will be revealed at the end of the task.

"What 'appens if you're in the toilet?" asked an ever-practical Sophie. Great question. We'll have to see how that one PLAYS out.

A housemate called Andrew from Big Brother Canada had his twin brother enter the house in a very similar task.

@0:50 onwards

Perhaps a little unfair that Dexter gets a visit from his parents and the others probably won't. The outside contact isn't good either but then we've had that since BB10 so i've given up moaning about it by now.

Has happened a few times in recent series tbf, Lauren was in the same room as her twin sister last year, and in BB11 Steve and Dave had their wives drinking tea out in the garden

Novo 16-07-2013 03:04 PM

and we can't forget when Ziggy's dog Molly came into the garden for a day

Jack_ 16-07-2013 03:06 PM

They've stolen this task from BB Canada, cute

Then again they made their task using the idea of Ignore The Obvious from BB11 so

Im_Juz_ChiLLin 16-07-2013 03:06 PM

Dexter is too cute when his mom came in ..... ;)

*mazedsalv** 16-07-2013 03:07 PM

I know people say no outside contact, but they need to do stuff like this for these types of tasks, it's similar to Ignore the Obvious. And can't wait to see it, that BB Canada clip made me smile :)

This is quite biased towards dexter. Because now fans will think aww cute and keep him in on Friday. This isnt a task for himself this is for the whole group, so they might aswell have brought relatives for each housemate in and bring jackies dog or something.

Callum will stay, so i dont know what tripe your talking. But used to it now, as thats all you usually do on here.. Hold up wernt you boycotting the show?

JustLisaAgain 16-07-2013 03:47 PM

Should've left Dexters mum in there as a new housemate to replace Daley - that would've been amusing! :)

smeagol 16-07-2013 03:49 PM

they will get callums family in soon probably if they can find them. id sugest checking the basment and garden area

CaudleHalbard 16-07-2013 03:54 PM

Don't really like this sort of thing. Why a relative of Dexter, for heaven's sake?

Are BB fearful he will be evicted this Friday? (I don't think he will be, anyway).

Bring in Jackie's dog: that'll make sure she stays.... more chance of the globular twins going. ;)
