fair points about swanseas achievements and yes perhaps this is arrogance.....but its just a sign of the massive excitement and latent enthusiasm that's been brewing for 50 years of utter frustration.....im confident, just hope these inbreds who want to oust Vincent tan because of the colour shirts are silenced one and for all....theyre a bunch of divs

Those fans are the tradiontalists and probably the few who watched the club in the lower divisions. The only Cardiff fans I really have any respect for. If they tried to do the same to Swansea I would turn my back on them as well, as would many others. The club crest was changed for god sake. You just don't do that.

This'll never happen, but I do agree that Cardiff have a lot of unfulfilled potential.

the protest isn't about the crest its about the colour...
swans are in white but have had many other colours over the years so have many teams
why didn't you turn your back on them when they didn't play in white?
even international teams play in other colours a lot of the time, to quit your team or country over jersey colour is fickle and frankly pitiful

You can tell you're a newbie and a glory hunter :joker: The Swans have always played in white at home that is a fact. It is as much about the crest as the colours, both are equally important to a club identity. The club nickname is the bluebirds for god sake, now you dont even have that on the kit.

not a newbie at all I didn't say just at home did I?
so its their nickname at Cardiff so what? they were bankrupted before the billionaire turned up....he had to go red to recoup some money in the malaysian market....it wont be forever and they can play in blue away from home....rather that than go bankrupt.....:wavey:

So what? Its the very identity of the club. Men and women would have the bluebird tattooed on their bodies. You are basically now just a generic football club who happen to be in Wales and happen to be in the PL. Cardiff are the MK Dons of the PL. They are just 'there' no pride, no passion, no history. I'd genuinely rather be in the conference than have my club turn into what Cardiff have become.

Football clubs have this thing called an away strip. Its generally considered polite for it to not be the same colour as the home strip. So where you're going with that I don't know.

Don't you find it embarrassing that you will be playing teams like Everton at home who play in blue, every seat will be their colour and you'll be in red!

no I find what you and the small minded anti Vincent tan fans say embarrassing....I find £30 million unpaid debts embraassing, I also would have found bankruptcy and the end of Cardiff city football club both embarrassing and tragic...sometimes business have to do things to improve and make profits....whether is resign a building, a makeover, a change in the brand or the brand name....but perhaps youd prefer to see a club disappear forever than actually do whats needed to survive and thrive

would I rather were in blue? yes. would I rather we are in red if that's whats needed to survive? yes yes yes/...Vincent tan is one the greatest most positive things to ever happen to Cardiff

its still called Cardiff city, its still in Cardiff, its still the good people of Cardiff following the team....playing at red is a tiny price to pay to see us survive and to reach the pinnacle of british football....maybe youd rather have seen us laying blue wreaths at the football funeral parlour? crazy

The fact that you refer to the club as a business says it all. It is of course, but to many it is far more than that.

No matter how you art it up, the club has sold out.

You should both set up firms and settle it the old fashioned way.

I have no individual problem with him :joker: I'm just pointing out that they will be known throughout the land as the MK Dons of the PL as they are getting hammered every week.

Alright mate, calm this down before this gets any further out of hand than it already has, and TIBB is seen as a new site that arranges fights between rival firms.

Please show me where threats of violence or arrangements to meet have been alluded to?

I'm afraid I can't do that in case the moderators here, or any watching police force then decide to implicate me in football hooliganism. I'm way too pretty for prison. I wouldn't stand a chance.

Damn. It's the fact you didn't believe I'm too pretty for prison that really hurts.

why are they football hooligans?

SocietyIsRuined 31-07-2013 11:47 AM

I'm from near Cardiff and they will be relegated this season. Wish they wouldn't be but they haven't got a strong enough team for the premier league. Tan should have put his money where his mouth is and invested in good players instead of Championship/Division One standard.
