I think Canada.. or (bit oppostie) somewhere around the countryside in Spain/Italy or France.. but I think I would save my money by having a smaller property and travel around the world following the tennis :D

Braden 20-07-2013 12:30 PM

I would probably get a nice house in London and a trendy little flat in Miami.

RichardG 20-07-2013 12:46 PM

Definitely somewhere in Canada. I wouldn't want to live in a giant mansion though, and I wouldn't want to be too secluded from everywhere else. Probably somewhere like these:

I think they just sold this but I would go for something like that.

GypsyGoth 20-07-2013 01:12 PM

I've spent the last hour trying to figure out a place to buy, I haven't found anything suitable. Will check more later today, hopefully I'll get lucky.

I've already gotten 2million in this thread, I don't need your charity :hmph:

MTVN 20-07-2013 01:16 PM

Would probably buy a massive mansion and load of land somewhere really poor like Zimbabwe and just live like a King, until my estate gets overrun by angry locals anyway

GypsyGoth 20-07-2013 01:17 PM

Show us pics of this place Matt, you can't just make up properties, there are rules.

Hmm do I go for the lovely mansion with only 1 acre or do I go for the place with 19 acres but looks like it needs a lot of work

Alternatively if someone would like to do a joint investment we could club together for this place which has "28 acres of perfectly manicured lawns"

Would probably also want a bit of leftover cash for servants and guards as well mind

Decisions, decisions

CaudleHalbard 20-07-2013 01:34 PM

£2 million would buy you quite a nice flat in Mayfair - not top of the range though. ;)

Yep, that looks perfect. It reminds me of a house I fell in love with on the Norfolk Broads a few years ago.

Kazanne 20-07-2013 03:00 PM

I would buy this in The hamptons,Long Island NY

Buying a large property is only the start of your expense though. Your income would have to be sufficient to maintain it.

Jobseekers allowance wouldn't do it. Lol! ;)

Verbal 20-07-2013 03:09 PM

2 million really would not buy a huge property in this day and age. In some parts it would buy you not much better than a glorified cupboard.

Size doesn't really matter.. I'd like fantastic views, preferably of water, lots if sunshine and good outdoor space
