RIO is her preferred name, it sounds SO much better than her birth name of Georgina Shant'e Reid, don't you think? :joker:

Well, this thread's quite the sad little pit of bitterness isn't it.:idc:
I think to really enjoy Big Brother you have to remember that it's supposed to be more about being entertained and enjoying it rather than becoming obsessively negative about certain housemates!
It really seems to eat away at some people that a housemate they really don't like is massively popular, so much so that they spend their time trawling the internet for 'evidence' that they think will somehow debunk a certain housemate. Do they think that a piece of 'evidence' that's so shoddy and without foundation that the Daily Star won't even touch it will somehow have devoted fans suddenly dumping their favourite housemate ?

Quite sad and pitiful really!:pat:

Sad to say I actually like the Gina Rio that is in the house, what I don't particularly like is the tendency of this reality show to treat its viewers with so much contempt, did they really think that creating false backstories wouldn't come back to haunt them?

Edit: looks like they found a true believer , didn't they!

I quite like Gina too. :) Don't even mind if she wins.

Her apparently fake backstory makes her a bit more interesting - if anything - than if it was real.

To be honest, I think the public's perception of Gina has improved since the stories, about her actually being anything but rich, started to circulate around the internet.

Seems to be starting to go down the "scripted reality" route, doesn't it? I don't particularly mind, I still quite enjoy scripted reality, but I do miss the good old days of more "real" housemates, even if they were a bit mire boring. The show used to be more balanced with fun and drama flare ups... Now it's drama drama drama.

,,,and all choreographed and orchestrated from a back room production suite.

Don't see much problem with what was there, it's all properly sourced and quoted

One of the funny clips was Gina in the DR asking if she could have some Ferrero Rocher chocs. Presumably that's about as upmarket as she gets!

Surprised she didn't for a bottle of Blue Nun wine to wash them down with. :joker:

I do kinda believe Dexter was a male escort - presumably for gay men. At 28, though, he's nearing his Use By date. Lol! :D

Now that s something I could easily believe as well.

Most of the sources were the Daily Star :joker:

Someone's removed most of it all now.

Who has "devoted fans" after being in Big brother for a couple of weeks?

Nice long post in a thread you're so let down by, incidentally.

I don't need the Daily Star, I do my own research and there is way too much to post on here!
