I don't know, the way she replied with 'but every guy I meet always fancies me' really seemed to me that she didn't understand the point or context of what charlie was trying to say - I definitely don't think it was an attempt to provoke her by Charlie either.
The point Charlie was trying to make had absolutely nothing to do with what any guy might think about Gina upon meeting her, she didn't suggest she was not pretty or unfanciable, she simply referred to a situation involving a guy that did not fancy her - if that is so overwhelmingly offensive, to think that, shock - horror, it is possible that a person may exist who does not fancy her immediately upon seeing her - then come on, she needs to sort her head out. Not to mention that Charlie was going on to say that same person then turns out that they DO fancy her after a couple of weeks...
If Gina did understand, she was game playing. If she did not, well she's obviously just not the sharpest tool in the box. My guess is she wasn't properly paying attention for whatever reason but still reacted to what she thought she kind of heard !
