This is potentially one of your most borderline offensive threads ever

To answer the question...well...um, yes. Why wouldn't I? Are we really still living in an age where 'omg you're a guy and you were make up...ew...gay xx', like...really? We are still having those kind of stereotypical beliefs?

And what is a 'real man' anyway? A six pack, tattoos, beard and a throbbing 10 inch cock? Anyone that doesn't have these are crossing the gender binary?

Make up is supposed to make people look better and feel better about themselves, I don't see why it makes any difference if it's a man or a woman wearing it. I have never worn it myself, but I certainly don't look down on anyone, man or woman, for wearing it. It's probably the least important issue when judging someone, and the fact you've put the word man in inverted commas is just...well...I'm lost for words. But we all know what the real point of this thread is anyway.

Nailed it.

I read a while ago that make up for men has been one of the fastest growing sectors of the cosmetics industry.

If men's partners or potential partners were averse to it, I doubt it would be a commercial success. :)

100% childish Kaz ,so glad they mean less than a bucket of spit to me ,,not even on here to discuss the show, just to instigate bother, sad lives

smudgie 23-07-2013 11:36 PM

no, not nowadays. But I did love Bowie in his heyday.

Nothing wrong with men wearing make- up, in fact men wore it before women I think. Just my man does not wear it and I only have eyes for him.

Boys & girls have been fancying men from movies, TV shows and musical bands/artist for as long as they've existed and as far as I'm aware they the majority of men in the show business wear make-up on screen.

alex_front2 23-07-2013 11:38 PM

Answer no. Might as well be a lesbian.

However I dont care that I find dexter asexual, effeminate and unsexy, he's entertaining so it's irrelevant.

Through most of the seventies and particularly the early eighties men wearing makeup was much more common than it is today. My granddad told me that in the twenties barbers would do make up with a haircut and shave for a Friday night out, to help their male customers attract women (think of silent film stars). Fashions change, but men have often been the peacocks.
Incidentally Brian Dowling is always caked.

Jesus wept.

Whether a man is a real man or not isn't about if he wears make-up or not, it's the content of his character.

Patrick 23-07-2013 11:56 PM

It's 2013, time for people like you to take your head out of your ******ing arse and stop being so prejudice.

I've wore eyeliner for the past three years - wear foundation when I need to, not all the time though; I don't see anything wrong with it and I never have a problem getting girls - yeah I would of got the odd comment from dick heads out and about, but you rise above it.

Makes you more of a 'man' for being able to do what the ****** you want, than having to hide behind a false caveman pretense.

Sophiee 23-07-2013 11:56 PM

Roy Mars III 23-07-2013 11:58 PM

No accounting for taste!

I think Rylan might benefit from more make-up actually, and he could do with returning those new gnashers too and seeing if he could get the next size down!

the phrase "real men don't" has been utter throughout the series about different things by certain posters.

don't understand how they have the right to define what a man is and isn't
