Hazel was quite liked until the Daley showmance, that is why she is hated, not because of what Gina and Dexter have said. Dan needs to watch himself or he will be leaving tomorrow for sure.

But I don't think she would be as hated if it wasn't for Gina's blatant dislike for her.

I disagree. I, and many other Gina fans do not hate Hazel because Gina hates her, we hate her for the Daley showmance and other reasons.

user104658 25-07-2013 03:59 PM

The initial dislike started with the Daley showmance, since then she's just become an easy target for hateful people.

He's not entirely wrong though: Gina has been clear about disliking Hazel and the public, for some reason, think the sun shines out of Gina's arse. In reality, as her reaction to the snake costume in the DR shows, she's just another one of those hateful, immature people who gets her jollies from seeing people upset. No wonder "the public" likes her... like attracts like, I suppose.

Stands to reason he would naturally think there must be another explanation other than we live in a society that condones that behaviour?

I can understand this doing his head in, although as a detective, he might, unfortunately, be used to women being blamed and judged following rapes and other assaults.

I agree, he must know that people being people will be keen to find blame in hazel for what "happened to" hazel. He's been keen not to say so to her face though even when she's thought it. Mainly because it's a really awful, damaging opinion to hold.

But yeah as a policeman hell have seen it many times before. She were askin for it officer! She lead me on! Bloody despicable.

That's why I dislike her.

I can't stand showmances and was even willing to put up with Wolfy for another week over the Dazel bollocks.

I assume you dislike Charlie, callum and dexter equally, then?

Not quite but the love triangle edits have ruined this weeks viewing pleasure.

Luckily for Dexter he doesn't have to rely so heavily on the love triangle because he's a big character. For Charlie/Callum it's all they have so bare the brunt of my dislike overall.

DanielLuis 25-07-2013 04:38 PM

She's hated since before those two entered the safe house. I don't think the other housemates have any idea of how Daley and Hazel's flirtations were.

I hope Callum and Charlie spend all their time with each other. I prefer Dexter with Gina. At least she's a true friend. Charlie is not.

That's probably what daley said to the star in his interview....

Yes, but the HM's may not know the full extent of her flirting with Daley. For example, Dan wasn't around a lot of the time that she was doing it, and the others individually weren't always there either. When the other HM's did see it, they wouldn't know what was actually being said between the 2 of them.
We know, because the highlights concentrated on it, and Gina and Dexter know as they watched from the safe house.
I think Dan is just trying to work out why his friend is hated so much, and isn't a big leap for him to think that D&G saw things he and the other HM's didn't and he could well think that they are targeting Hazel for that (which is partly true!)

It's what people seem to believe! The same people who brand any young girl in a short skirt a "slut" and think it was her own fault if some pervert decides to have a grope.

Even more mind-bogglingly - 99% of these people are other women :/. Women are misogynists. Who knew.

Then it shouldnt be hard for him to work out that if D &G saw things he & the other HM's didnt then public will have seen what D&G did.

That wasn't aimed at anybody on the forum.

I'm a Gina fan and I don't dislike Hazel because Gina does. I'm just saying, more of the younger audiences will be impressionable towards the fact that Gina doesn't like Hazel. They will carry this through until she's evicted, even though in recent days she's actually been okay and hasn't done anything to warrant dislike imo.

CaudleHalbard 25-07-2013 05:04 PM

Dan thinks his snuggle bunny Hazel is 100% certain to be booted on Friday and he's lashing out.

........................... little does he know he's up for the chop! :D

That's true. If only he knew how close he is to being evicted. :joker:
