You said "who gives a ****".

Bit rude mate.

Channel 4 did great with BB but the reason fans are so pissed off with them as a Channel overall is the fact they run BB into the ground on purpose.

They wanted to get rid of it because they couldn't take the controvercy/Ofcom crew anymore.

They basically waved their white flag and gave up then were bitter when it became succesfull for Channel 5.

first bold: Nope i said who gives a **** about c4. (why try and misquote me?)
second bold: what makes you think they were bitter? they got rid for a reason cost v benefit.

It was shoved back on air in no time and was more overkilled than before - because of C5's love of CBB.

It should of relaunched in 2012.

:conf: I know that.

I'm saying channel 4 had the right idea to end it. It wasn't their problem channel 5 put it back on again.

Rebidding? Why is the show going up for tender again?

Only at the end of next year. I think.

The bitter snipe from them on launch night when a continuity announcer introduced Twilight by saying: ‘Resurrecting the deceased might be what some channels like to do on summer evenings, but here on Channel 4, we prefer the undead.’

It will stay on channel 5 until they don't want it anymore.

Channel 4 have reaped what they sowed.

Whether they did or they didn't, after 11 years the format needed a breather.

How dare they make light of it and crack a joke.

If Jay Hunt is in charge C4 won't touch it with a barge pole. She is a stubborn woman, openly anti BB and she would rather drive the channel into the ground than put a bid in. If there is a change in controller (which they really need) they might put a bid in however I would guess if C5 want it they will get it.

I just find it funny as soon as C4 axe Big brother the ratings go down and C5 ratings go up

alex_front2 29-07-2013 09:49 AM

We should do a poll.

BB on C5 or go back to C4.

There are things about C5 that I hate (ie it's over-formatted and too many scenarios are contrived) plus lack of diversity. Series 10 was really diverse looking back.

However, C4 did run it into the ground by the time series 11 rocked up

I hated BB at the end of C4's reign, BB10 and BB11 were horrid.

I'm glad they got rid.

C5 turned me into a BB fan again.
