Not sure.

What I'm saying is that an odds-on eviction favourite has never, to my recollection anyway, escaped the boot.

Spoon 31-07-2013 02:04 AM

I'm so confused. :conf: I want Dexter and Hazel to stay! If the public's conflicted, can't BB just double-evict the others?

I'd like to see the twins go, I think Callum needs to go for his own mental health, but I'd be happy with either one.

If your confused then Vote Callum !!!

Look, as much as I despise Callum, this will probably be our last chance to evict the twins. Being as Gina got cheers, they didn't nominate her. If the twins get cheers (going off last nights BOTS, they probably will), the housemates could do the same thing again. Callum will be up again next week, so we need to vote out the twins this week!

Callum has to go NOW, before he loses it and attacks Dexter. He thinks he can get away with it, i'm sure he would do it.

What has Hazel done wrong???

This. Don't post false information.

Johnnyuk123 31-07-2013 07:45 AM

oddschecker says Callum has 17.61 % Hazel has 38.73 % and Jack n Joe have 36. 62 % to be evicted.
Looks like Callum and Hazel will escape this week.

The Odds now
Betfair
Hazel 1/2
Callum 4/1
Jack and Joe 5/1
Dexter 19/1

Gusto Brunt 31-07-2013 07:49 AM

People must be mad to keep Jack and Joe in.

Do you not realize that's just one bookmaker? There's many and every other one has Callum at far safer odds than the twins.. But then again you'll do anything to put down Callum so fair enough

Betfair isn't a traditional bookmaker, it's more like a betting exchange... So the betfair odds more accurately represent public opinion which is a good indicator of what might happen in a public vote outcome (unlike, say, a horse race where public opinion means less).

Highstreet bookies use a combination of money placed and trader knowledge / experience to set odds. So whilst a shift in betting will alter odds, the traders will also try to pre-empt betting patterns before they occur and alter odds accordingly, by following developments as they happen.

karezza 31-07-2013 08:57 AM

It all depends on how the next few highlights shows are edited. I am sure BB want crazy Callum out. Hazel/Dexter/Twins fans should vote to evict Callum.

He is,you are right.
The Twins are on 7/2 or thereabouts and Callum is on more like 6/1.

What now? Hazel's odds are still around 1.40 at most bookies which makes her ~71% favourite to be evicted.

Its obviously going to be Hazel. Though I can't for the life of me understand how shes such a big fave :(

Seems Callums rant had the total opposite effect to wht he wanted though. Possibly because (most of) the viewers could see he was talking utter rubbish to try and twist things into something it wasnt.

That's because he has been caught lying about Dexter. If he had told the truth the viewers would have known. ;)

He didn't lie about Dexter, Dexter admitted to saying the things that Callum claimed he did.

I think that is a bit over dramatic.

Firstly I don't think he will attack anyone, and secondly why on earth would he think he can get away with it?

I thought Dexter said that he can't remember exactly what he said but that it sounds like something he might say?

Hardly an admission really.
