I don't disagree with that.

I'm just pointing out that Dexter is a liar and some people hate liars, right?

Lying to just get on BB seems to be about the norm (sadly). Callum's VT is an example - and he has admitted it.

Manufacturing a back story which you then maintain throughout the series takes game playing to another level. Gina and Dexter fall into this category but I have no problem with it; the series is subtitled Secrets & Lies, so their fakery fits in very well!

fingers 31-07-2013 11:47 AM

I wonder why this is being published now when Callum is in the firing line, this would appear to deflect the flak from Callum and refocus it on Dexter?

smudgie 31-07-2013 11:48 AM

All the lies and fake back stories etc sort of take the real out of REALity show.
What they say and do in the house is what it is all about.
On the one hand I hate the prefabricated stories and lies but on the other I still find myself warming to Gina.:spin:

Well, we have no proof that Gina's story is fake, but I wouldn't be surprised if her mum or dad came out with an article like this one.

I personally don't see why herlifestyle should be fake, but believe what you want. Even if it is, I don't care because she's been consistently entertaining the whole way through.

Gusto Brunt 31-07-2013 11:49 AM

I still believe him. ;)

Jemal 31-07-2013 11:51 AM

This is why i literally think he does not like Charlie.
Im sorry but callum has liked the girl since day 1. But dexter went from hazel to Jemima back to hazel to the safe house and sees charlie is vunerable and switches the switch on. And he likes Charlie. Give me a break. Those two would be the worst magazine couple in the history of magazine.

his tales of being London’s highest paid male escort

Knew from the first day Dexter could not lie straight in bed. Born liar and bitch, he is no more a man than Hazel.

There is, it seems, official government proof she lives in a council flat with her mother. Even if only that bit is completely provable, it surely casts a shadow of doubt on the rest?

Not to mention the TKMaxx clothes, cheap replica designer shoes, appalling cheap weave, love of Ferrero Rocher etc etc. ;)

I don't mind at all. If she has managed to do a bit of secrets and lies of her own, it adds to the hilarity! :D

chuff me dizzy 31-07-2013 11:58 AM

I read before what his"manager/window cleaner" said about him being a lair, not in the slightest shocked

Yes you are right

Headie 31-07-2013 12:00 PM

Thing is though, we all question Gina's ifestyle... but we'll never know whether she was telling the truth or not? Once she's off the show, she'll either be back to her rich lifestyle ways or we'll never hear stuff about her again.

If she really is rich, the joke is on us. While we contemplate her being poor, she's shopping at harrods, splashing the cash  That's why I can't be bothered dwelling into it all when A) it has no effect on her bringing entertainment to the house B) if she is rich then there's no point speculating after all

DanaC 31-07-2013 12:04 PM

Well...his mum says she's never met his girlfriend, yet she also hasn't seen him in a long time. She seems to have been largely absent and in a different country for quite some time, so how would she really know?

Even if what she says in the article is true (and even if the article is accurately reporting what she says) I think this says way more about her than it does about Dexter.

My mum would rip her own throat out before she'd dish the dirt on her kids.

Well it makes Gina more of a talking point, for sure.

I suspect the truth may come out nearer the final.

Or maybe her dishing the dirt on him was part of the plan to keep him as a talking point?

DanaC 31-07-2013 12:14 PM

Maybe. She could have equally done that by confirming some of the details though.

Yes, and also maybe she to will do anything for money.

The apple has not dropped far from that tree methinks.

I could think of better ways of doing it!

He's already a talking point anyway. Dexter v. Callum is the only show in town!

smeagol 31-07-2013 12:15 PM

who cares.
